Notable Facts

  • In E8, Irvine noted that Sieg seemed more intelligent than your average Zoid.

Skills

 Restoration

Like other Organoids, Sieg is able to restore Zoids from a damaged state. This included restoring a Shield Liger that'd been abandoned in the desert for 20 years into near brand-new condition. This transition happens so quickly that it's feasible to do even in the thick of battle.

 Unlocking Potential

Early into the show it's implied that Sieg wasn't quite as strong as the other Organoids. It was only in Episode 51 when it seemed implied that he was finally able to reach his full potential, and thereby gained the ability to instantly unlock the full potential of a Zoid. Only, unlike Specular and Ambient, who made physical modifications to the Zoids they unlocked in this way, the Blade Liger looked the same as it always had. Instead, it was far faster, able to respond to the pilot's commands almost as they thought them.

 Flight

Sieg has boosters that tuck away into his back. When they activate, panels fold down from the back revealing a set of four thrusters on each side. They're strong enough for him to fly, even with someone on his back. Even strong enough to ram into a small-scale Zoid and shove them through several stone walls.

History

Awakening, Episode 1

Sieg was sealed in a ruin until a young boy wandered into the secret passage and activated his capsule. Born anew, Sieg attacked the only other person in the room - the boy who'd freed him. Much to his surprise, he didn't seem all that bothered. In fact, the boy was excited that Sieg, like any self-respecting Zoid, should test his would-be traveling companion. Confused, but seeing the boy's hand extended in peace, Sieg tried to sniff him only for a strange Zoid to burst through the wall.

It was Blu, a bandit, and his Guysack. Sieg was startled, and not sure what to do. The boy jumped in front of him, throwing a live cable into the Guysack to deliver an electrical shock. He begged Sieg to run, right before the boy was struck by the Guysack's claws and thrown back. Though he didn't quite understand what was going on, Sieg knew enough to know that the boy wanted to protect him. He stood to defend him from their attacker, and was struck down in the process. Realizing they couldn't win this way, Sieg threw Bang onto his back and flew into the Guysack, shoving it out of the ruin. They escaped across the desert, landing on an abandoned Shield Liger. Sieg nudged his nose towards the controls, and when Bang realized he was supposed to pilot the Zoid, Sieg fused to the Shield Liger and revived it. With Bang at the controls, they defeated the two remaining bandit Zoids in the area.

After the battle was over Sieg took Bang back to the ruin, urging him to open the other capsule. It contained Fine, a young Ancient Zoidian girl who'd been sealed in the ruin alongside Sieg.

The Start of a Journey, Episode 2

The Wind Colony, Bang's hometown was attacked by bandits looking for Sieg. He almost ran, under Bang's instruction, but Fine got in the way. Sieg reluctantly followed the village elder to save Maria, Bang's sister, who was being held hostage until they turned over the Organoid. Though Sieg was struck by an electric whip, once he snapped back out of it he attacked Verde, freeing Maria, then fused to the Shield Liger. It was then able to use the missiles to shoot down the attacking Redler. Afterwards, Bang set out on his own, knowing that they'd only continue to hunt for Sieg.

Meeting Irvine, Episode 3

Irvine, a mercenary searching the world for an Organoid kidnapped Fine after she and Bang had been separated from the Zoids in a sand storm. When Sieg saw that she was being held captive, he flew into Irvine, setting Fine free and fleeing through an underground tunnel with her.

Just Chillin, Episode 4

While Bang and the Desert Arcobaleno Gang fought it out over who would get Sieg, Sieg was happy to simply swim around the local lake, occasionally splashing Bang with water to remind him not to be so hot-headed.

The Rescue 'Noid, Episode 6 ~ 7

When the group was arrested, Bang ordered Sieg to run for it. He later came back and broke into the base, fusing to the Shield Liger and helping Bang escape. He and Bang later went back to rescue Fine and Moonbay as well, but they'd already resolved the situation themselves.

Theft Attempt, Episode 8

Irvine attempted to steal Sieg, even zapping him with a shock collar, but he was saved by Bang.

Berserker, Episode 9

The group escaped the Empire by inadvertently wandering into a Rare Hertz, a pulse that caused Zoids to go out of control. While the main Zoids had pulse guards to protect against this, Sieg did not. He felt lethargic, and eventually, he went out of control himself. His eyes turned green and he fused to the Shield Liger, attacking his friends then fleeing. Eventually they caught the Liger by burying it in rubble. Sieg defused and fled on foot, only to be cornered on the edge of a cliff. When Bang tried once again to tame Sieg in the same manner as when they'd first met, Sieg backed away, slipping off the cliff. Bang caught him, but couldn't hold them. When they both went over the edge Sieg regained his senses, returning to his normal self to save Bang.

Rematch, Episode 12 ~ 14

After Bang lost to Raven, he became obsessed with a rematch. He got his wish at Kronos Fortress, only it didn't go any better than before. In fact, it went considerably worse. Raven's Saber Tiger caused such harm to the Shield Liger that Sieg himself was also left in critical condition. He only survived thanks to Bang retrieving Zoid Magnite from the Mt. Ossa volcano, but even then, he needed time to rest and recover.

Rescue, Episode 20

When Bang and Fine were cornered by Rev Raptors they had no option but to jump off of a steep ledge. Sieg caught them in the Shield Liger.

Death of the Shield Liger, Episode 22

Sieg joined Bang in trying to rescue Rudolph from Raven. He was fused to the Shield Liger's core when it took fatal damage from the Geno Saurer's charged particle cannon, and defused from it just in time to save Bang. It wasn't without cost, however. Sieg himself suffered terrible damage once again, falling unconscious.

Evolution of the Shield Liger, Episode 23 ~ 25

Some time after the Shield Liger's death Fine and Sieg fused to the remains of the Shield Liger. Moments later, it was engulfed in a vortex of pink light. When Bang returned to camp much later, he arrived to find the group held hostage and tried to attack a Zoid on nothing but his hover board. He was flung into the vortex of light. Fine revealed to Bang that it was his emotions that had resurrected the Shield Liger. The Zoid took form as the Blade Liger, and Fine and Sieg were released from the vortex.

Capture, Episode 26

Sieg was briefly captured in an electromagnetic net by the Crossbow Brothers, but when he heard Fine's prayer, he woke up and escaped.

Imperial Pursuit, Episode 27

With the group needing to pass a border inspection, Moonbay and Fine tried to sneak the Zoids across as cargo while Bang, Irvine, and Rudolph went over the mountain on foot. Sieg helped haul people up ledges, and sensed the pursuing Realgas dispatched through the forest to chase after them. Though he tried to defend the group, he was tied down by the Realga's silk threads. Though the group was captured, they were set free by a young man, Rokai, an imperial soldier who Bang had once helped escape the Republic. Seeing that the situation with Fine and Moonbay was beginning to devolve on their end as well, Sieg flew Bang back to the Blade Liger so that they could push through the enemies.

Aerial Battle, Episode 29

When they wandered too close to a base, Bang and Sieg were fired upon by Black Redlers. Normally Sieg would fuse to the Blade Liger, but under such intense fire he wasn't able to do so. This changed when the Redlers were distracted by incoming Storm Sworders, and the Blade Liger, now fused with Sieg, was fast enough to outrun the pursuing Black Redlers.

Rematch With Raven, Episode 33

Sieg supported the Blade Liger during Bang's rematch with Raven, up until the Blade Liger became so heavily damaged that Sieg defused. He remained on the ground until Fine woke up, and pleaded for Sieg to reawaken. The both of them fused to the Blade Liger once more, revitalizing the Zoid and repairing a significant amount of its combat damage.

Guardian Force

The Red Organoid, Episode 35

When Bang and Sieg were visiting the Wind Colony, they heard Bang's sister, Maria, scream in the distance. Bang arrived first and found her unconscious by a red Organoid, Ambient. The Organoid immediately attacked, but Sieg arrived in time to ram him away from Bang before he could do any lasting damage. Though Sieg was prepared to fight, the other Organoid fled when it heard it's master whistle.

The Blue Devil, Episode 37

When Fine was captured by a Godos under the control of Rease, Bang hesitated, seeing visions of accidentally killing Fine during the rescue attempt. False images created by Rease. Sieg took the initiative to rescue Fine so that Bang could destroy the Godos. Later on, however, he was confronted by Specular, making him unable to return to Fine's side while she was kidnapped by Rease.

The Not 'Red' Organoid, Episode 38

When the group entered a town to investigate local threats, a runaway cart nearly crushed some small children. Sieg stepped into its path, taking the brunt of the hit but also getting a bucket of red paint dropped on his head. Though Fine tried to clean him up, the paint wouldn't come off, so she instead smoothed it out and painted Sieg red entirely. Though well meaning, this ended up with them in trouble when Thoma Schwarz mistook them for Hiltz's group due to Sieg's red coloring.

Rescue, Episode 39

Sieg joined Fine in rescuing Bang and Thoma from Hiltz after they got captured in the Gigant Woods. Fine strapped explosives to the Organoid, which were accidentally lit during the confrontation. Thankfully, he threw them off in time!

The Zoid Hunters, Episode 40

While the Guardian Force investigated a criminal group hunting down and stealing Zoids, Bang and Irvine were captured, and nearly killed. Sieg dove into the Whale King and rescued them. When the transporter then took off with Fine still on board, Sieg took over controlling the Blade Liger so that Bang could get back on board and rescue her.

True Love, Episode 43

When Thoma tried to confess his feelings for Fine, she failed to understand what he meant, leaving Sieg to believe that it was him Thoma was confessing his feelings to. Sieg fell hopelessly in love. Later in the evening, when Rudolph was kidnapped, the Organoid was unfortunately immobilized by an electric net.

Failed Rescue, Episode 51

After Bang's battle with the Geno Breaker he and his Blade Liger had ended up at the bottom of a canyon. Wounded, he tried to climb from the cockpit but fell directly into the river. Sieg defused from the Liger and tried to follow. One of his boosters erupted into flames, and though Sieg tried to rescue Bang, he couldn't save him from being washed over a waterfall. Badly injured himself with no other choice, Sieg hobbled his way back to the Blade Liger and waited for help. He was eventually found by the rest of the group, and told Fine what had happened to Bang. They eventually found and rescued him.

New Potential, Episode 52

As Bang struggled to work with the Liger, finding that it could no longer keep up with his skills as a pilot, Sieg grew more lethargic. Though Fine tried to warn Bang that something was wrong, he was too distracted by his need to defeat Raven to pay it any mind. To Fine, she sensed that a new power was growing in Sieg. When his body started to glow, she grew more concerned. If Sieg transferred this power to the Liger, she feared that it'd be too much, killing the pilot. Against her pleas, Sieg fused to the Blade Liger while it was fighting off a pack of Gun Snipers working for Hiltz. The Liger's reactions became instantaneous, its speed and reflexes dramatically improved. In spite of Fine's concerns, Bang was thrilled by the new changes. With Sieg's fusion, the Liger's potential had finally reached the same level as Bang's.

The Zi Foundation, Episode 55

The Guardian Force began investigating weapons that were appearing on Zoids with no business having them, such as equipment only recently developed by the Empire. They tracked the weapons back to the Zi Foundation, an organization for war orphans doubling as a weapons development operation. Sieg decided to help out by flying onto the base where some of these weapons were being sighted and kidnapping one of the individuals, bringing them back to Bang and Thoma to be questioned.

Search For Fine, Episode 65

After Fine's disappearance Sieg was sure that he knew where to found her. Still fused to the Blade Liger he tried to communicate this to Bang, who didn't hesitate to jump in the Liger and follow Sieg's lead. He lead them straight towards the Valley of the Rare Hertz, towards Zoid Eve. When they got cut off by Hiltz and his Death Stinger, Bang asked Sieg to go find Fine, so Sieg left the battle to him.

The Zoid Eve, Episode 66 ~ 67

Sieg arrived in Eveopolis shortly after the awakening of Zoid Eve. He landed in the console area with Fine, and explained that he knew of a way to put a stop to Zoid Eve. Though he stood by her side as she watched the battles, once she'd exhausted her appeals to Hiltz to stop the destruction Sieg was prepared to make that ultimate choice, to destroy the Zoid Eve, ending the life of all Zoids on the planet. Once she was also prepared to move forward with that choice Sieg lifted her with the cables in his chest, mirroring the pose of Zoid Eve. He hooked into the console area and with Fine's will, the Zoid Eve began to lose its light. Their efforts were halted by Bang begging for a chance to defeat Hiltz and the Death Saurer. He had his Blade Liger fired out of the Gravity Cannon. Shockingly, this plan worked. The Death Saurer's Zoid Core was destroyed, and as soon as it fell, Sieg and Fine fused to the Blade Liger. All four of them escaped Eveopolis right before it sank back beneath the sands.
