- Episode 50: Attack of the Geno Breaker

Summary

The group is preparing for another round with the Geno Breaker, but just as they think they've found several improvements to make to the Zoids, they're ordered to remove them all due to heightened risks. To do so would sentence at least one of the pilots to death. The Guardian Force thus runs into a wall against the army, who prioritizes the end result over the lives of individuals.

- Notable Facts

  • Fine and Moonbay were able to upgrade the Blade Liger's boosters, a change that increased its booster power by 15%. This was ordered to be removed because it made pulling off the necessary formation less likely by 40%, but the upgrades were not undone.

  • The Lightning Saix and Dibison were equipped with Electrical Pulse Shield generation devices in this episode, allowing them to survive a charged particle beam. For the Dibison, this was installed to the Twin Crasher Horns. The shields were ordered to be removed because they increased energy expenditure by 300%, but the pilots refused.

  • The Lightning Saix development plant was destroyed, leaving no survivors.

  • Rease recognizes that it's highly unusual for Raven's Geno Breaker to be red, and implies that Ambient tampered with the Zoid Core.

  • Halford intended to take Fine off the Guardian Force and reassign her to the ancient ruins research division after the battle. He claimed to specialize in researching Ancient Zoidians and the recovery of Organoids, and would benefit from an Ancient Zoidian being on his team.
