- Episode 46: The Devil of the Sea
Summary
A myth has circulated for years that when Zi's two moons eclipse each other, the land of the dead at the bottom of the sea will be resurrected. While it may just be a story, of course, it's true that when the moons eclipse the sea level changes due to the opening of numerous whirlpools around the region. On Lemuria Island this reveals an ancient ruin below the surface. Bang and Fine are called out to the island to witness this event, unaware that Rease is already there, ready to turn this magical experience into a nightmare.

- Notable Facts
Rudolph's name when riding in the Storm Sworders with Rosso and Viola is the Masked Royal.
Lemuria Island references a theory from real life that proposed a lost land mass to explain how lemurs were found in Madagascar and India, but not in Africa or the Middle East. The idea was that it was due to a lost continent that effectively formed a land bridge. However, though this theory was disproved, the name was later adopted as a theorized continent housing a lost ancient civilization. The dub changed the name to Lumiere Island.
Fine felt as if she had been on Lemuria Island before.
Rease, while taunting Fine, suggested that her name meant "The End is Near" while stating that there was a terrible curse upon Fine that would lead to her bringing misfortune upon Bang.
Since a young age, Dr. D has been obsessed with what the secrets of the past could teach us about the present. He focused mostly on Ancient Zoidians in his studies. This fixation came from a discovery when he was a child, an ancient prophecy carved into a pillar that said the door would open when the two lights in the sky became one. He was convinced that this was an important message from the Ancient Zoidians, and believed it to be referencing the events below.
Every 60 years the two moons on Zi eclipse one another. During this eclipse, enormous whirlpools appear around Lemuria Island as a result of the tidal currents changing. This drops the water level to reveal ancient ruins.
Lasers nor energy shields work in water.
The Blade Liger has 3 minutes worth of oxygen in the cockpit, if submerged.
The ancient ruins contained a scorpion tablet, hinting towards the Death Stinger.
