- Notable Facts

  • Even as a child Raven didn't like Zoids, and hoped that there were none on Earth, where the humans of Zi come from.

  • Halford works as a combat analyst for the Republic, and specializes in the Geno Breaker.

  • Halford used to work with Dan Freiheit.

  • Rease's insects are also used to spy on training battles.

  • It takes 5.33 seconds for the Geno Breaker's charged particle cannon to recharge.

  • The Psycho Geno Saurer was built by replicating elements of the Geno Breaker.

  • The Psycho Geno Saurer uses smoke vents to create a field to project images on, which allowed it to show Raven illusions of the Guardian Force Zoids.

  • Organoids can only fuse for a limited amount of time, and the Geno Breaker's power makes their limits even stricter. Most Organoids cap out at 60 seconds, while Shadow lasts for 3 times that.

  • Rease has Zoid Magnite that she offered Raven to revive Shadow, but he stated he'd rather see Shadow fade away than have to rely on her.

  • As a child, Raven was stargazing with his father when he promised that they'd all (he, his father, and his mother) would go on vacation after their research on the Organoid capsule was completed. They were studying the capsule for the Empire. However, once the capsule broke, both parents were slaughtered by the Organoid. Though this Organoid is often mistaken for Shadow, because it was introduced with a black color, the Organoid was actually Ambient, sharing the same physical design including the spike under his chin. A younger Hiltz is even seen lurking in the doorway of the room after Raven was knocked out.

  • Halford was aware of rumors that another group (implied to be Raven's parents) had already found an Organoid and begun researching them. This made him especially determined to defend their discovery of an Organoid pod. Rather than letting it fall into Prozen's - and thus the Empire's hands, he activated the capsule, releasing Shadow.

  • Dan, Bang's father, was actually intending to adopt Raven after they'd discovered him. Unfortunately, he died protecting his unit. Raven picked up a gun and tried to shoot the man he found to be responsible (Prozen), but didn't know to turn off the safety. He was smacked down, and Prozen decided to take Raven back home, enlisting him in the army where he received training to properly use a firearm and pilot a Zoid.

  • 5 years after being taken to the Empire, Prozen's people were finally able to track down the black Organoid, Shadow. At the time he was completely feral. He gifted the Organoid to Raven under the condition that Raven would need to tame him, which he did.

  • At the end of the episode, Rease and Hiltz introduce Prozen to the 'Dark Kaiser', who insists that Raven can never escape from his past, or from him (Prozen).

  • In both the anime and manga, Raven's family lived at an observatory.
