- Episode 45: The Wings of Darkness
Summary
A new Storm Sworder being developed by the Republican Army has been stolen. While this is a major ordeal it's assumed that the thieves will be back for the combat data that they had yet to install, and so the Guardian Force is called in to strike against the returning bandits.

- Notable Facts
The Storm Sworder Stealth was located at Dragonhead Base, but at the time that it was stolen, it hadn't yet had its combat data installed, requiring them to install it with Redler ammunitions for combat before returning to steal the combat data.
Though Moonbay had the Gustav towed by Bang and Irvine's Zoids, she noted that Raven's particle beam hadn't hit the Zoid Core, and that they should be able to repair it at Red River base. Given Dragonhead is on Red River, these might refer to the same base?
Fine is able to recognize Shadow's intentions, even though she wasn't involved in the battle. She is the one who points out that it was Shadow's decision to leave the battle, not Raven.
Mueller still uses the old Black Redler pilot call sign of Black Angel. The Black Redler subordinates refer to themselves as Night Flight, with their mission titled Operation Jet Black.
The special black paint on the Storm Sworder Stealth gives them better stealth abilities, eliminating electromagnetic traces that'd otherwise allow them to be detected.
After obtaining the Storm Sworders, Ralph and Mueller decide to destroy the Black Redlers in their company because they would give away the Storm Sworder's stealth position.
Though they show up later, Rosso and Viola are noted to be on guard duty for Rudolph in Guygalos.
The Silver Pteras (the black ones, don't ask me) in this episode are noted to have high speed boosters.
The Cannon Tortoise BC (Beam Cannons) is the standard accepted name for the variant seen in this episode, but it's introduced as the Cannon Tortoise Heavy Gun in the anime. The anime variants of Zoids sometimes matched names used earlier into production (such as white Command Wolf ACs being Command Wolf "Artie" before the later-standardized "AU" title), so it's unclear if this is an anime-specific name intentionally or if this was an early name for the BC overall.
Though Mueller reasonably didn't trust Hiltz, Ralph was more than happy to work with him, as no one in the Empire would help them reclaim the Eisenbeck territory, which had been taken over by "rebel forces."

- Deleted Scenes From Episode 45
Comments: Alcohol and blood. Then you get another Bang peeing scene. I'm still trying to understand why these were ever included in the first place.
