- Notable Facts

  • At the time of the episode the Shield Liger is the fastest (land) Zoid of the Republic.

  • Bang mentions that he needs Sieg to help him work the combat system.

  • Moobay and Irvine knew each other before the series began.

  • Moonbay brags that she can probably fix just about any Zoid. She repairs them by modifying the system to improve the Zoid's ability to recover on its own.

  • The Guysacks in this episode are 'Sleepers', Zoids that hide in the shadows until they're prompted into action by specific circumstances. In this case, they attacked Moonbay because they could sense that she was transporting ammunition. Decoys outside drove them to the ruins where they could be surrounded later during the night.

  • Up until this episode, Moonbay had never failed to deliver her cargo, and even argued that she'd rather die than fail. She ultimately chooses to abandon the cargo only because her friends are involved.

  • If the antenna of the Gustav is damaged it blacks out parts of the camera system that allows her to see outside. This is probably just for visual effect, but was interesting.

  • Bang and Fine are asked to work for Moonbay as 'protectors' to pay off the loss of her cargo.
