- Episode 44: Assault of the Mega-Monster
Summary
The news is out. Raven has returned, and he's got a new Geno Saurer. Various circumstances have also brought all of Bang's former friends back together, some under not-so-great circumstances. When Dr. D explains that he's found a way to triple the output of the Blade Liger's energy shield, allowing it to possibly stand up to the Charged Particle Gun, it seems like hope may be restored. It's all speculative, though...

- Notable Facts
Irvine notes that he was staying up around Laffrey (Liffray?) beach living it up at a resort, after having won some prize money, when he heard that Raven might be back.
In this episode, Dr. D upgraded the Blade Liger's energy shield, explaining that its particle neutralization worked because of minute electrical pulses generated by the blades. Though this works, the shield still fails when Raven combines the Charged Particle Gun with the Pulse Laser Guns.
Moonbay was chasing down a hot lead on some transport work when she ran into Thoma and his Dibison, then dragged him back to base for help.
When Raven arrived in his Geno Saurer, Dr. D noted that its Zoid Core was exhibiting unusual signs.
The Gustav has armor thick enough to block a sustained charged particle beam.
