- Introduction

In order to improve on an otherwise unarmed unit the CP-22 Dual Sniper Rifle and CP-23 5-Launch Missile System were installed to the basic Zoid. This dramatically improved its fighting capability and permitted the wolf to better defend itself and its allies on the battlefield.   [1]

Name Details

The name 'Assault König' is based on the Battle Card Game (Volume 6 in particular.) More commonly the Zoid is referred to as the König Wolf 'DSR' or 'Dual Sniper Rifle.' This name is used mostly in game media. Graphics 2 refers to this variant as the Assault König Wolf. There's also a variant referred to as the König Wolf Sniper seen in the Helic Vs. Guylos games, but this will later be listed as a separate variant, as it only includes a single missile pod.

- Equipment Information

- Dual Sniper Rifle

Dual Sniper Rifle: デュアルスナイパーライフル

The Dual Sniper Rifle attaches to the weapon port on top of the cooling fan plate. Its placement allows it to rotate 360 degrees, and in some media (The Iron Bible DVD) can even tilt downwards. There are some discrepencies in how this weapon is used, however. In Zoids Fuzors, some of the games, etc. the weapon is used as an automatic rifle with a high rate of fire. Generally speaking, it is a standard sniper rifle however, and fires 2 simultaneous high-power shots.

- AZ 5-Shot Missile Pod x4

AZ 5-Shot Missile Pod x4: AZ5連装ミサイルポッド×4

The AZ 5-Shot Missile Pods attach to thick shoulder armor that replaces the default armor of the König Wolf.* These missiles are shown in animation to have homing properties, and with doors that flip outwards, the pods can be opened up to fire a total of 20 simultaneous missiles.

 * Although the model kit replaces the shoulder armor, in Zoids Fuzors, the König Wolf MK-II actually has it equipped overtop of the default armor.
