Zoids Official over on twitter started a hashtag called My Original Zoid, where many people posted their original art! There are so many amazing things to see in this category.

 The artist of the two Zoids Wild Wixoss collaboration cards has posted the images over on Pixiv! Yuji Kaida has also posted a large, beautiful image of an old fan favorite, the Gojulas Mariner!

 While we've known for a while that there were significant delays in shipments due to the Corona Virus, Japan Post announced today that they would be expanding the list of affected countries on April 24th. SAL was entirely halted earlier this month, but the US and several other countries are to join the list of those unable to receive packages through EMS as well. Japan Post will not be accepting new EMS shipments, and a number of shipments that had already been sent are being returned to the senders if they are unable to deliver them. This includes packages from HLJ and other stores.

 Before purchasing a Zoid from Japan, please look into whether it is shipping with SAL or EMS, as you may not be able to receive your item. Also check with your store or deputy service of choice to see what their policies are regarding item storage. Many have extended their storage limits due to the crisis. It seems that DHL packages are still shipping, so you may have better luck using Amazon JP, as that is their shipping service of choice.

 An update has rolled out for the next chapter of Zoids Official Fan Book Vol. 2! This chapter introduces Irvine, and the Gojulas the Ogre. As many of you may know, Keiji Fujiwara, the Japanese voice actor of Irvine and Jack Cisco, passed away on April 12th. It is only fitting that this was the next chapter to be added. He provided the voice for one of the most famous and beloved characters in Zoids, as well as numerous other roles in popular series. We wish all the best to those mourning his loss.

 Episodes 12 and 13 have been added to the dubtitles page for Zoids Wild. Episode 13 is generally where everyone agrees this series makes its mark. It sets into motion many of the stronger story aspects of Wild, so if you've not given the series a chance so far, we recommend at least watching this episode. On the note of watching, we've also changed it from the youtube release to a dual-audio blu-ray release, generously provided by Mecha! So you can truly appreciate the fights that take place. We will update our older files to be timed to these files shortly.

 Zoids GC, perhaps better known to you guys as the project/site run by Stompy, is updating once again! Not only has Stompy posted some awesome updates of his original 3D designs, but he is even providing some of them as ready-to-print files. This means you can print your own copy of the Blue Sovereign, a unique transport Zoid, or your own Blitz Panther MK-II, which was formerly only given away as a contest prize for Zoids Poison. Definitely check it out if you have the time!

 CoroCoro has posted a video going through the various Ligers released throughout the generations! They also show off Liger The Arthur, which looks amazing in the metallic silver. You can see the various armor additions, the Wild Blast, etc.

 Kotobukiya posted a blog entry on the HMM Great Sabre Marking Plus Ver., which confirms the same box art and shows off some excellent examples of the kit with new decals. They also mention that their next blog post will cover upcoming MPV Zoids, and that the next will be a Zoid in similar color to the Great Sabre. This seems most likely to be the Lightning Saix, but we shall see!

 Zoids Wild EX-ZERO has been given its own page over in the books section (last image in the stories category). It is also still linked through the HJM article. With this change, Chapter 2 has also been added! Please bare in mind that this uses automatic translation, so will have some mistakes. All scans are there, though, including story pages, advertisements, etc.

 I also wanted to ask for some opinions. The books section right now has every volume posted separately. Do you like this format, or would you rather each series only have a single image, leading to a main page, like what the Official Fan Books have? You can cast your vote through this Straw Poll.

 I've never been quite happy with our last revamp of the article section, which was messy and honestly a bit hard to navigate. The section has been updated to be broken down into categories: Merchandise, Assorted, and Reading categories. This should make it easier to find what you're looking for at a glance. The actual magazine scans have been put into their own column to make it easier not to confuse them with similarly named articles.

 The Buying Zoids From Japan article (renamed Shopping For Zoids!, and now located as the very first item you see) has been completely rewritten from the ground up. The article now includes a F.A.Q. section, as well as separate pages for Deputy Services and Stores & Markets. The Deputy Services have been updated for a less scroll-heavy layout, with sections added (for those with enough info) for pros, cons, and shipping standards. Japamart and White Rabbit Express have been added to our list of popular services. The info table for every service now lists whether or not it covers Kotobukiya Direct exclusive items, such as the Liger Zero EM.

 Stores and Markets have been moved to their own page, divided into International Stores (New Items), International Stores (Used Items), and Japanese Only Markets. Each major store includes a basic rundown, location, and stocking info (if it regularly gets certain items in stock, etc.) Some stores have been added.

 We have some exciting new updates for the HMM Wild Liger! In lieu of colored product photos, Kotobukiya has set up the Wild Liger page with some high-detail CG images. They have assured us that the CG images, however, all use poses that are 100% possible with the physical model. HMM Wild Liger is scheduled to release in August, for 8,800 yen. Ordering from Kotobukiya Direct will get you the Z Caps Freedom Blue Ver.

 ●The kit is 1/35 scale.
 ●The colors are based on the anime-version, including tail tip, rib color, etc.
 ●The joint caps and eyes will use clear parts.
 ●It will include a Zoid Core.
 ●The tail is split into 7 different sections, on a 3mm axis joint for maximum articulation.
 ●Many of the pose images are based on anime-specific scenes.
 ●The eyes are on a vertical axis and can be rotated forwards and backwards.
 ●The eye direction can be reversed to reveal a 3mm hole for the Wild Blast attachment.

 News on Liger The Arthur is ramping up! CoroCoro posted an article with some cool new images of the kit, and Zoids Official posted a spread from the recent issue of CoroCoro Comic! Liger the Arthur will be available as a mail-in purchase using the applicable postcard from CoroCoro Comic. It will cost 4,600 yen and will be limited to the first 12,000 orders.

 So, what options are available to overseas users? While we've found one service willing to attempt the mail-in order, it would come at an additional $20 fee, and from what I can find most services that would try also have added fees. With mail already backing up on a global scale, the best bet for overseas buyers seems to be to wait for its release and use Yahoo Japan. The markup of such limited kits is usually around $10-$20 anyway, so you can avoid the hassle. Some services are offering extended warehouse storage due to these trying times, and if you use Celga, although it is manual and slower to purchase and get updates from, they have free unlimited storage. So you could have them hold your item indefinitely while we weather these difficult circumstances.

 TakaraTomy has announced the next new Zoid, the Kill Scythe! We've been seeing a lot of this little guy in the new Zero anime OP, various commercials and WIPs, etc. but we finally have some data. Kill Scythe is a small-scale windup kit that will be released on May 23rd for 1,500 yen. You can view it and its box art on the TakaraTomy Mall, its info page on TakaraTomy's Official Website, and a DHM article which includes a couple of additional photos. We've also added its data to the model kit section!

 A mantis-type Zoid that specializes in close-range combat. Although it has low offensive strength on its own, it's an army-type unit that becomes a threat against large Zoids when it attacks in a group. When it falls into a dying state, it drops the powerful time bomb on its stomach on the enemy.  The page for Rising Liger Ruby has been active for a while! We also got a promo image from Zoids BCH on Twitter. As we know, this is part of the Great Excavation Event for Zoids Wild: Battle Card Hunter, where users can win Rising Liger Ruby 'ticket' cards to enter a raffle for a chance to win. 150 lucky winners will walk away with a Rising Liger Ruby, and 1000 winners will walk away with a Gravity Cannon Unit Red Clear Ver. A short commercial for the new expansion also shows off this Zoid.

 The Anime twitter posted a digital image of the running Wild Liger stock art! They also posted a concept art for the Sonic Bird's Cockpit.

 Moritya posted some artwork from Zoids Wild 2 of Liger The Arthur and its pilot, Lance! This includes some teaser pages from the manga. Some additional teaser pages were posted in another post. Meanwhile, Yuji Kaida posted a high res image of the Green Horn box!

 Battle Card Hunter has released a special promo card, featuring artwork of Liger The Arthur. The card was released in CoroCoro's May issue. Meanwhile, the Raptoria Raffine card appeared as a limited boss battle starting on April 16th, and a while back, the Sonic Bird was also a featured boss from February 4th.

 The Zoids Generations page has been updated with Chapter 5! In this chapter we make a quick pit stop to participate in the Sunlight Festival.
