For the last decade the site has always been fairly self contained, but I've often contemplating making a social media account for it. A place to just ramble about assorted Zoids topics, something I don't really have a spot for on the site. I likely won't be posting about these much, if at all, so follow if you'd like to stay up to date! I don't know how often I'll be updating these places, but hopefully it'll be enjoyable for those who spend more time on social media~

  I've created an Instagram though it doesn't have any posts yet. This page will be dedicated to small Zoids doodles that illuminate lesser known facts about individual Zoids or parts of the franchise! It may also contain random fan art and lore stuff. I've also created a Facebook Group called Zoids Archives, which'll be focused on posting assorted lore facts, references, and sharing general franchise ponderings. If you're interested in learning more about Zoids, give it a look!

 Zoids GC, perhaps better known to you guys as the project/site run by Stompy, is updating once again! Not only has Stompy posted some awesome updates of his original 3D designs, but he is even providing some of them as ready-to-print files. This means you can print your own copy of the Blue Sovereign, a unique transport Zoid, or your own Blitz Panther MK-II, which was formerly only given away as a contest prize for Zoids Poison. Definitely check it out if you have the time!

    A popular customizer by the name of Catfish, known for their work in 3D modeling custom Zoids, started selling their own original kits at Wonder Fest. Though these kits aren't distinctly Zoids, they appeal to many Zoids fans. The worldwide fans of their work have wished for a way to obtain these kits, which fit nicely into the theme of this franchise. Catfish recently opened up their online shop. They're offering their previously limited Hydro Shark for sale! It's worth checking out if you're into Zoids.

    So CloudyMecha over on Tumblr and r/Zoids has decided to do a group order of Zoids Enamel Pins, and for now has the Guylos Empire insignia available! These pins are already created and will start shipping on the 15th. You can check out the store page here. It's awesome to see some fan made content floating around, and the insignias are a great choice for pins, currently being sold at cost (of making and shipping them.)

    Speaking of grand returns, we've added a new fansite link, Zoids GC. This is a blog owned by Stompy, featuring his original CGI Zoids including the well known Blitz Panther. I bet a ton of people remember these animations from years ago, and it's fantastic to see this modeler making a return to the Zoids fandom! The new work looks great (one of which has been submitted to fanart > artwork!) and the effects used in each image are fantastic.

    We've added a new fan site to our listing, the Zoids Aethenaeum! This website is run by Falcarius, the largest contributor of translated materials to the English speaking community. It contains a lot of archived reference information, including the DHM / HJM archive from Zoids Poison.

    Unfortunately we've had to bump quite a few sites down on the activity list, and a few have even been removed for broken links. If you know of other Zoids sites, active or not, or even have a site of your own that you'd like linked here, please let us know!

    An Ancient Zoidian themed font has been added to the Fan Art page. This was made by us, and is a first attempt so things are still pretty wonky. You'll want to play with the spacing and line depth to get an ideal look.

    Ok this update is getting long but I can't help but continue into the Fandom side of things. Lately some amazing events have been taking place including ZAOD (Zoids All Owners Discussion) which is a sizable event in Japan for Zoids owners to greet, show off fan works and customs, and discuss upcoming products. This is awesome to see since Wonder Festival is coming around the corner, making 3 events a year where Zoids are featured! Even if ZAOD is run by fans.

    An event report can be found on Zoids Ignition. There are extensive photos of all the Zoids shown! Human Routinez has also hosted a good few photos of the event which includes awesome photography angles of some of the customs in close up detail.

    Autocrat Islet is one of the sites we've linked in our Fan Section for some time but the past year they've made amazing strides with Zoids animation. I feel like this deserves a spotlight for the unique style of Zoid rendering that closely matches the anime. There have been two recent videos, a main introduction episode and an eye catch.

    I normally wouldn't do updates for unofficial things, but I feel like this warrants it! Anomarokarintou published their in-progress Zoids GF/NC0 Crossover film on December 24th. It is a 28 minute long feature that includes a battle of the Blitz Team Vs. the Guardian Force team, and has some amazing effort and contributions. Many people collaborated on supplying Zoids for the opening sequence, and overall this is a very cool work of fan art. No doubt an incredible effort was needed for this.

    For further viewing the artist has submitted a lot of their eye catch images to their blog, found here. They've also submitted photo galleries of the Zoid rigs used in the video to their Pixiv here, but pixiv does require an account for viewing.

    Soon after this video was published, Ueyama who provided concept references for its creation published some new Zoids artwork on their twitter. This is as close to concept references as we'll ever have for these unique, manga-specific Zoids! Check out their twitter here for more.
