Introduction
Shadow is Raven's Organoid, given to him by Prozen. In spite of how feral he was in the beginning, Shadow follows Raven's orders absolutely, even at his own personal expense.

Abilities
Piercing Ability
Shadow's able to take a partly energy, partly physical form that allows him to pierce through enemy Zoids, defeating them even without the use of a Zoid of his own.
Fusion Time
Shadow has incredible endurance for an Organoid. While most Organoids would only have the ability to stay fused to the Geno Breaker for 60 seconds, Shadow could stay fused for 180.
Flight
While all Organoids depicted in the show have the ability to fly, Shadow is the only one with actual wings, all others flying with the assistance of boosters. His wings shrink and fold up into the spikes on his back.
History
Awakening, Episode 49
Shadow's capsule was discovered and excavated by the Republican Army. However, when the Empire appeared and threatened them for the capsule, it was opened by Halford, who set Shadow free. He immediately took flight and fled the area. Five years later the Empire finally tracked him down and captured him, but by then he was completely feral. Prozen gifted the Organoid to Raven under the condition that he be able to tame it. Raven's eloquent method of doing so was simply to tackle Shadow, getting him tipped over on his back and waiting until the Organoid stopped struggling. He then removed the collar, and Shadow voluntarily followed him.
First Appearance, Episode 12
When Shadow first appeared it was accompanying Raven while he wiped out sleeper Zoids. He stuck close by when he then wandered into the village, and watched his battle against the Godos, but didn't interfere.
Rematch, Episode 13
Though Bang had challenged Raven to a rematch, he still wasn't strong enough to take him on. He did, however, land a hit with the E-Shield. This didn't damage the Saber so much as infuriate Raven, who called for Shadow. With the Organoid's added power, he charged forward and slammed right through the shield with the Saber's claws, striking down the Shield Liger behind it.
The Black Command Wolf, Episode 14
When Raven's Saber Tiger was disabled by the spread missiles of Irvine's Command Wolf, Shadow answered Raven's call and fused to the Tiger. With its power restored, the Zoid ripped its own leg off, then ran the Command Wolf down. They had Irvine pinned when he used flash flares, escaping their grasp.
Kidnapping of the Crowned Prince, Episode 22
When Raven wanted to draw Bang into a battle, Shadow was sent to kidnap Rudolph. He flew right into the middle of their camp and snatched the boy into the air, taking him to Raven.
Hunting, Episode ~ 26 ~
Shadow accompanied Raven throughout this period while he attacked various Republican Army bases in his Geno Saurer. The Organoid often hung close by, but wasn't particularly needed due to the Geno Saurer already being so powerful on its own.
Rematch Against Bang, Episode 32 ~ 33
When Prozen ordered Raven to finish off Bang, he and Shadow set out to intercept them before they could reach Guygalos. Shadow fused to the core near the start of the battle, which seemed at first like it'd be a landslide victory. However, with the Blade Liger reinvigorated by Bang's determination to win, then repaired by Bang's Organoid the fight turned around. The Geno Saurer couldn't keep up with the faster Blade Liger, and its ankles broke trying to chase them with the particle cannon while locked down. Still determined, Raven snared the Blade Liger and reeled it in. He was unaware that its blades neutralized charged particles, and when the blade punctured the particle cannon and caused it to backfire, the Geno Saurer was destroyed. It's likely Shadow snatched Raven out of the Zoid just in time, in the same manner he did during the Saber Tiger battle, saving his pilot once more.
Guardian Force
Return, Episode 42
Though Raven survived the battle, he seemed to be in a fugue state, unresponsive to most stimuli. For a time he vanished completely, and when he returned, he started to target military bases. During these attacks Shadow would target Zoids independently. He kept watch from afar as Raven was picked up by a Gustav pilot and given some water. That night, when a Redler passed overhead, Shadow took the opportunity to attack and commandeer the Zoid, landing it rather roughly by the cliffs. Raven departed from his newfound acquaintance. He piloted the Redler into the next base, where they abandoned it for a Dark Horn. As it would turn out, Bang was at the base to defend it. Seeing his face seemed to awaken Raven from his fugue state, and he immediately called for Shadow, the both of them escaping.
An Evolution, Episode 44
As Shadow fused to the core of Raven's new Geno Saurer, its core started to emit unusual signs that were picked up even by their enemies. The battle raged on outside, but at one point, just as Raven was about to win once and for all, Shadow took control of the Geno Saurer. He steered it away from the fight and didn't stop until they'd reached a remote canyon. Though Raven was angry, Shadow simply dropped him off outside the Geno Saurer then fused back to the Zoid Core. In seconds the Geno Saurer was encased in an evolutionary cocoon, beginning its evolution.
Exhaustion, Episode 49
When Rease tried to show Raven illusions of a simulated battle being run by the Guardian Force, with the intention of destroying the Geno Breaker he reacted by blasting the illusions (and nearly Rease) with the particle cannon. Shadow was drained by this display, leaving him unconscious. Even when Rease offered to revive him with Zoid Magnite, Raven refused, claiming he'd rather see Shadow fade away. Thankfully, that didn't happen... this time.
Base Attacks, Episode 50
Shadow accompanied Raven in the Geno Breaker when he destroyed the Lightning Saix development facility. He was told to then stay away until their fight against Bang.
Death, Episode 57
As Raven entered yet another battle against Bang, Shadow fused to the Geno Breaker. Ever since the crimson Zoid's evolution the topic of fusion time had been a concern, and Raven wasn't always careful to pay attention to it. This time, Raven took note of the Geno Breaker reaching its limits, a result of Shadow's power running out. He planned to finish the battle quickly, but any attempt to do so was interrupted by a massive particle beam fired from the Death Stinger. As it cut through the battlefield, Shadow, already at his limit, drew what power remained to launch the Geno Breaker out of its path. Though the Breaker landed and survived, albeit severely damaged, Shadow defused immediately. The metals of his body burned red hot, and as he turned to look at Raven, who was running towards him in concern, Shadow turned to stone. He'd died as a result of this last action.
Post-Death, Episode 58 ~
After Shadow's death, Raven still kept his stone body. Once they reached Raven's childhood home a mysterious orb of light formed near the Organoid, and he spontaneously vanished.
Revival, Episode 64
The next time Shadow appeared it was in the caverns leading to the Zoid Eve, inside of a capsule where he was being revived. When he broke free, he awoke to find Raven beside him, and immediately attacked. Shadow had been revived as the Dark Kaiser's loyal servant, and no longer remembered anything about Raven. Before he knew it Specular was in the fight, and the two Organoids scrapped, dealing bite after bite to each other.
Retaming Shadow, Episode 65
With Shadow simply not backing down from the aggression, Raven lamented that maybe they were meant to meet their end that way. He forgave Shadow for the fact that he would eventually kill him, expressing that he was just happy that Shadow was still alive. This seemed to reach the Organoid, who turned around to face the Dark Kaiser. He was instantly flung back and knocked unconscious by the pulse shield. When Zoid Eve awoke and the cavern started to collapse the Organoids woke their masters, flying them to safety.
The Death Saurer, Episode 66 ~ 67
In Eveopolis, Raven confronted the Dark Kaiser only to be attacked by three Geno Saurers. Though Shadow provided as much energy for the fight as he could, by the third Geno he had nothing left, and was forced to defuse from the Geno Breaker. He watched from the rooftops, standing alongside Rease and Specular as Raven and Bang took on the Death Saurer.
When Bang came up with a plan to fire the Blade Liger from the Gravity Cannon, Raven took it upon himself to work on the Death Saurer's energy shield. The Breaker's particle cannon, used on its own, simply wasn't enough. Shadow fused back to the Geno Breaker, likely revitalized by the light of Zoid Eve. This time he gave it the power to punch a hole in the energy shield. This gave the Blade Liger something to target, and contributed to the defeat of the Death Saurer.
