Near the end of the last episode Van was called back to the city, which had fallen under attack by Hardin's group. On his way he was stopped by Shadow, along with Raven and his Genosaurer. They stood to face them now, as the episode began.

His new Zoid was fast, but Van found it difficult to keep up with Raven. His Zoid was countering the Blade Liger at every turn. He tried again and again, only to be hurled back or shot down (literally). This time was different, though; he had nothing to stay and fight for, so he tried to flee. A group of Red Horns tried to get in the way, but a charged particle beam from Raven's Genosaurer destroyed every one of them, as well as collapsed the cliffside.

Back at Guygalos, Irvine and the others were faced with the decision to stay or to go. If they stayed, they wouldn't have a chance of getting to the correnation in time to stop Prozen from becoming Emperor, so they decided to risk it. Homaleph immediately began falling behind in the Royal Zaber, but when Rudolph took the reigns this Zoid zoomed right past enemy lines.

A heap of metal crashed against the ground; the Blade Liger's cockpit jarred open and Fiona flung from her seat. The escalating damages from the Genosaurer's onslaught drove Zeke to defuse, and Van was forced to bring the Zoid to its feet on his own. Using the inspiration of the friends gained along the way he charged back into battle, more aware and more serious than he'd ever been before.

The pace of battle rapidly spun in his favor. He manages to avoid the Charged Particle Beam, sling the blade through the Genosaurer's face guns, and tear the back mounted weaponry from the Zoid. There was a moment of doubt when the Genosaurer latched on with the electrostatic claws, reeling in the Blade Liger and charging the Particle Gun, but with no other choice Van placed his trust in the Blade Liger. He drew the blades forward and brought the Energy Shield to full power. The Energy Blade was driven through the Charged Particle Beam, giving strength to the Shield, and then into the barrel of the Genosaurer's gun. The blockage caused the entire weapon to backfire into the Zoid, and in an instant it went up in a blaze.

Comments: And while there are no deleted scenes from 32, 33 has Zoid scenes! I never understand why these get removed. They weren't shooting at people.
