At the beginning Prozen is seen speaking to a scientist. This man boasts about the progress they've made, and how powerful it is, even to someone working on the project. Having accidentally slipped, and insinuated that he'd like to go public with it, Prozen orders that the man be taken away.
Continuing from the former episode Rosso takes Rudolph out into the desert. He realizes that his plan may very well change thanks to the Imperial flunkies out to get Rudolph. Nonetheless, he insists that he'll sell him to whoever is the highest bidder.
Elsewhere, Van and the others have finally reached the Gurill Plateau. They find the ruins have been excavated not long ago, and once they stumble a bit further, find that it has also been littered with sleeper Zoids. Someone from the Empire doensn't want anyone finding this place, and under orders not to destroy the ruins, a group of Rev Raptors take chase.
Van and Fiona, separated from Moonbay and Irvine, are driven towards the edge of the plateau. The Rev Raptor pursuing them swings its tail, and just as they leap from the ledge, Zeke and the Shield Liger return to catch them. The battle begins, and the Shield Liger has no trouble dispatching the pesky Zoids with the Energy Shield. Once they've all been taken care of the group is able to return to the ruins safely. They find more of the stone tablet seen in New Helic City, and Fiona has a frightening image of a prehistoric Zoid that she calls the "Death Saurer."
Rosso meats with Medlanik's men, but as he sends Rudolph on his way, he begins to have a change of heart. He realizes that regardless of what the Empire has done to him, he doens't want to be responsible for the death of a child. He throws the trapped suitcase full of money back at Medlanik's gang and snatches Rudolph, fleeing into the desert with him.
As the episode closes, Raven is given a new "gift" by Prozen. A powerful Zoid that amazes even him.
Comments: Tossing around of children. That seems to happen a lot to poor Rudolph.
