- Episode 2: The Mysterios Fiona

As the episode begins, Van is just returning to his home village from the ruins. Eager to introduce his new friends to his sister, he goes inside to explain the situation. Given the unusual circumstances in which he found the two, he lets Maria begin that Fiona was attacked by the bandits, and that he helped her return to safety. The situation gets a little more complicated when she faints at the very sight of Zeke-
A few hours pass, and the Desert Alcabalino Gang returns; attacking the city and threatening the lives of the civiliens if they don't hand Zeke over to their gang. Maria attempts to inform them that Zeke has left the village, but is only kidnapped as a response. Van sets out to rescue her, alone with Zeke, and although he defeats the Desert gang, he realizes just how dangerous Zeke is to the village. He takes a mature look at the situation and understands that more Zoids will come to attack the village, and so for the safety of everyone, he makes a decision to leave the Wind Colony behind, and travel into the desert with his new Zoids and Fiona.
