SigemikanZ over on X, who works on a lot of the customs used in official promotional art posted images of the customs used for the RMZ Blade Liger and Command Wolf Irvine! I highly recommend checking out their work. They also do a lot of cool customs.

 We've gotten some pictures of the Hunter Wolf Garo collab by Synergenex, and man, this thing is beautiful! The wolf features gold chrome armor with chrome silver accent pieces and red eyes. It also includes special Garo-themed stickers. The kit will be up for pre-order at the Garo 20th Anniversary Exhibit for 7,700 yen. We aren't certain if it'll be released elsewhere later, but the article by Dengeki Hobby noted that it might be sold on the event site later. The wolf also has its own custom lore.

 The Cannon Tortoise MPV released, and we got to see some brand new box art for the kit! Funny enough, it even features a little Shotodile walking beside the tort. It's always nice seeing diverse box art animations like this.

 Two new Synergenex kits have been announced as part of the Great Extinction Exhibition, scheduled to be held at the National Museum of Nature and Science. The venue will open on November 1st and run until February 23rd, 2026. The new kits are Redonda Gabrigator Rare Bone Ver. 2025 and Dimepulsar Rare Bone Ver. 2025. It seems 'Rare Bone' has become a label applying to these museum kits in general, with these two kits featuring particularly unique color schemes. The exhibit, which is focusing on the five mass extinction events throughout prehistory, will include displays for Dimetrodon and Redondasaurus replicas, among others, thus the choice in Wild kits.

 This guy was announced at an event a while back, but we finally have an official announcement for the AZ-02EX2 Liger Zero Empire Spec. and man does it look gorgeous in these colors! This kit is a T-Spark / TTMall exclusive with pre-orders expected to open in September. Now, in the past, some TT Mall exclusives have appeared on the Kotobukiya US store, but I can't help but notice that this post distinctly mentions it being a domestic release, so we'll have to wait and see.

 We now have an official web page for the AZ-12 Geno Breaker, which as usual contains some lovely concept art of the kit, as well as insights into the 3D model! There's tons of additional photos to view. The kit is scheduled to release in March 2026 for 19,800 yen (tax included).  At the end of the Shield Liger video, we got two new announcements, with the first being the RMZ Saber Tiger Raven Special! The first Saber to release is planned to be the Schwarz, so this will be our first 'standard' equipment Saber Tiger.

 The even more surprising second reveal was the RMZ Zabat! Zabat has gotten woefully few kits over the years, and its always been a Zoid with some interesting quirks and gimmicks. Seeing how TT will tackle a redesign of this Zoid should be interesting!

 We've got an official page for the second Hunter Wolf MPD which more or less rehashes the lore of the first, but includes lots of gorgeous photos of this Zoid. Looks like it'll have blue eyes! The original unit had yellow-green eyes.

 The Zoids Wild model kit section has been updated to include the last of the standard release model kits, covering Senki. Pages have also been added for almost all limited editions, giving basic details of how they were distributed, what events they related to, etc. There's still a few limiteds I need to dig up.

 Takara Tomy has, without delay, announced the reveal of the Advanced Zi Geno Breaker, following right on the heels of the Geno Saurer's release! This teaser image references an old announcement in CoroCoro for the Tomy Geno Breaker, which is a fun detail.

 Though this is a Saurer with an extra weapons unit, TT has really gone out of their way to make this AZ Breaker something special. For starters, keen eyes may notice that it's modeled after Raven's Geno Breaker from the anime, complete with the white face covering and blue LED eyes. For those who aren't anime-focused, it comes with swappable parts to turn the face cover red and the black Free Round Shield segment to red. Like the old Tomy Breaker, it includes all the pieces you need to make a red AZ Geno Saurer.

 The Charged Particle Converter in the backpack spins. The Charged Particle Cannon and core glow red like the Geno Saurer. The arms connecting the Free Round Shield also have a unique piece that, when the shields are stationary at the sides, will actually make the X-Breakers move! It can be disconnected to allow free articulation of the arms for action poses. This is such a cool feature I didn't know I needed, but I'm excited about it. Hybridized articulation-motorization features like this are a dream. The Zoid is currently in the shooting process for its upcoming commercial, and pre-orders are expected to open August 6th!

 Zoids Official has posted a teaser for the upcoming RMZ-013 Shield Liger Bang Ver.! We were all surprised that Shield Liger wasn't at the front of production for the RMZ line, but the wait has been well worth it, with lots of features that stand out for this particular Shieldy. First, as the teaser implies, we finally have a Shield Liger that's going to come with an Energy Shield! Though companies have toyed with this notion before, reality often didn't meet expectations, with Kotobukiya, for example, lamenting that in reality a red-pink Energy Shield just looks like a bowl of fruit punch. This style, I think, goes a long way to meeting the expectations, with sweeping action lines instead of trying to make the shape entirely anime accurate. I only wish the included stand for it was clear!

 It also comes with the expected Shield Liger weaponry, but another neat fact is that the Missile Arms use a standard 3mm peg! This is a first for the Shieldy, and means that you can attach a variety of Zoid, MSG, etc. parts to the arms for easy customization. The tail uses the anime-specific tip but also comes with an optional beam gun that has a nice, compact look to it. The face and leg armor follows the trend of opening vents as well. Pre-orders are expected to open in August.

 The T-Spark label had an exhibit at the Animation-Comic-Game Hong Kong 2025 event, where they displayed lots of items, but also sold an event-exclusive Blade Liger Mirage! Though this kit sold for 299 HKD (roughly $38 USD), it was so limited that the second-hand market prices are already quite high. A number of them were raffled off through the Takara Tomy Mall, but this was done through random drawing, rather than direct sale. Rather unfortunate for the rest of us that may want one, but hopefully it'll see more releases going forward. The box seems to vaguely reference the stylings of the old Blade Liger Mirage Kanon Spec. from the old days!

 We also got teasers for the Hell Cat Tirol from Guardian Force! This charming little fellow is capable of pulling off a lot of the anime poses. Like the normal Hell Cat it comes with a stand. Only, Tirol will also come with a standee featuring Nicholo, the boy who lived with him in the ruins! This standee features art from a returning anime character designer, Tadashi Sakazaki!The kit is scheduled to release in February 2026 for 4,400 Yen, and is a Takara Tomy Mall / T-Spark Zone exclusive. Though it's pictured unarmed, it still includes all the Helcat weapons and option parts.

 The Geno Saurer Raven has received its official webpage, showing off concept art and a ton of its features. The kit is scheduled to release in February 2026 for 7,700 Yen. In this version of the kit, the gun barrel effects are gold and the particle effect is purple. The armor matches the anime colors, and the kit comes with a wire for the arm to recreate the famous launching wire arm from the show. As expected, it also comes with a Raven and Shadow figure.

 T-Spark has announced a new Patlabor x Zoids collab kit, a rehash of the previous Hunter Wolf Metropolitan Police Department Version, this time as Unit 2! This kit seems redesigned to better match the manga style, with modified facial armor, sloping back ears, new decals, and a more defined nose. The gold from the previous kit has been changed to silver. Pre-orders are opening in August.

 We've gotten new information on the Evangelion collaboration kits (promo image) from Synergenex, starting with Test Type-01, scheduled to be released in February 2026 for 6,600 yen! Both units come with an Entry Plug to replace the pilot. The unit comes with a purple cockpit hatch to match Eva Unit 1 as well as a black one to better match the Xeno Rex's styling. It has custom designed armor and weapons matching the unit as well!

Within the vast geofront beneath Tokyo-3, a spherical metallic lifeform mysteriously glowed and pulsated. It was discovered along with other metallic skeletons deep in the Antarctic strata, and was placed under the care of the special agency NERV. NERV designated this metallic lifeform as a "Core", analyzed it, and due to its semi-permanent energy generation, planned to repurpose it into a weapon to destroy the Angels. During further research, it was also discovered that the Core's unique pulse pattern resonated only with specific individuals of Evangelion, decisive general-purpose humanoid weapons. This was seen as an effective means of countering the Angels. NERV appropriated replacement parts from the resonating Evas, restoring the metallic lifeform to its original form, dubbing it the Xeno Rex, a decisive general-purpose beast-type weapon. * Machine translation

 The red Test Type-02 is releasing at the same time for the same cost. It features the Pencil Roc, a 6-shot gun inspired from the referenced Eva, as well as other weapons inspired by Evangelion, like the Pallet Rifle and Progressive Knife, which unfolds from the shoulder towers. Like Type-01, it comes with two cockpit covers, a red one to match the Eva, and a translucent orange one to match the Xeno Rex.

 The HMM Salamander has finally opened for pre-orders! This kit is scheduled to release in December for 29,700 yen. This kit has an insane amount of articulation, able to mimic bird-of-prey poses. It has separate missiles on the back and includes attachment parts to allow you to equip the Gojulas Cannons. These will be releasing in December for 5,940 yen. If you pre-order the Salamander through Kotobukiya Direct you'll also receive gold pilots (7) and decals based on the OJR Salamander.
