- Zoids Field of Rebellion: Game Guide

On this page we're going to walk you through some of the basic gameplay for Zoids: Field of Rebellion. To start things off, you can use Bluestacks to play the game. There are also a number of VPN services that can change the location of your tablet, without having to use a third party service to install the game, but these can occasionally affect performance.

- Laboratory

The lab is where you'll make all modifications to your Zoid, be it installing new weapons, adjusting the levels, or upgrading the Zoid's performance type. Most things require metal to accomplish.

- Equip Weapons

When you first enter the screen, you'll see the first message. Like it says, click a circle to install a weapon. You can have up to 3 weapons equipped at a time, but only one of each placement. Left, Right, and Top. You can tell what each weapon is by the D-pad style icon above it.

Below we'll list the stats of each weapon. It's worth noting that some weapons have special attributes that aren't mentioned in the stats, such as E-Shields, which provide invincibility for a few seconds.

Weapon Stats:

     攻撃力: 76 x 1発
     消費EN: 120
     総弾数: 33
     射程: 10
     リロード時間: 0秒
     コスト: 3

Attack Power: 76 x 1
EN Consumption: 120 (EN Weapons Only)
Total Bullets: 33 (Bullet Weapons Only)
Range: 10
Reload Time: 0 Seconds
Cost: 3

Attack Power: As stated, this is how much damage it does to enemy Zoids. Sometimes weapons have x2 or x3 after. This can either mean that it locks onto X number of Zoids, or that it fires X number of shots. In some cases, it's both. In that case, it's great to try to fire at enemy Zoids as an ally passes behind them, to land both shots on them.

EN Consumption: How much energy it consumes from your Zoid. In the case of gatling guns, vulcans, etc., the consumption is per bullet, so energy can drain fast.

Total Bullets: This is how many bullets, shots, drops, etc. a weapon can make before you're unable to fire it again. To make the weapon usable, you must stand in your teams Headquarters to restock on ammunition.

Range: This is the distance that a weapon can fire. If you hold the weapon in combat, you'll see a strip of light showing the angle of fire and how far it can go.

Reload Time: Always in seconds. How long it takes the weapon to be usable again. Don't be fooled by 0 Reload weapons, they still usually take at least 1 second to recharge.

Cost: The weight that it adds to your Zoid. Zoids cannot equip weapons that equal more than their cost.

Coloring: This is where you can change your Zoids color. As you can see, there's an icon of each color you've obtained. These schemes are only available through purchase from the Shop (200 Zoid Gold Each) or special Zoid-specific sets (usually 3000 Zoid Gold each, with a black and red color scheme.)

Zoid Select: Swap between Zoids here. They're organized depending on your sorting, which we'll get into next.

Sorting: There's a huge number of options for how to sort your Zoids, among various other aspects of the game. We'll list them all in the image below. If you aren't seeing all of your Zoids, make sure you haven't set it to filter certain ones.

- Weapon Enhancement

Level Up: By leveling up weapons, you can dramatically improve their stats. If you have to choose between leveling a Zoid, and leveling a weapon, leveling a weapon is usually the safer payoff, since it functions for all Zoids in your possession.

By clicking the yellow button (Level Up) you can level a weapon one level at a time. If you want a faster option, click the + sign above the stats box, however many times you want to level the weapon up. Then click the yellow button and it'll apply all those levels at once.

    Weapon Levels:
    - Level 10: Prototype Weapons (Single Player Co-Op)
    - Level 20: Standard Weapons

- Sell Weapons

Selling Weapons: Generally speaking, while there are a lot of weapons you won't use, there are also some that become surprisingly effective. It's best not to sell ones unless you're absolutely sure that you don't need them. For example, while a rare version of a weapon may have 'better' stats, a common weapon can easily surpass it because the EX levels will go up much faster for a common weapon than a rare weapon.

The selling price depends on the EX level of the weapon. It doesn't seem that actual levels effect the price, so no, you won't get your money back for a manually leveled weapon.

Common Weapons: 20 Metal per EX level.
Rare Weapons: 40 Metal per EX level.
Super Rare Weapons: 60 Metal per EX level.

Ideal Weapons For Selling:
Left/Right EN Weapons: They're stronger, but they don't damage bases. Most destroyers don't use them.
Extra Red Weapons: Keep one 4 Cost, and one 3 Cost (for low cost Zoids.) Sell any extras.
Enhancement Parts: Besides maybe a Defense part, hardly anyone uses these.
Most Back Mounted Weapons: Chances are, you'll only rotate between 2-4.

When you're ready to sell a weapon, click the yellow button in its stats window. You're then met with a screen telling you the selling value (in metal), and can choose to sell (yellow) or cancel (green).

- Zoid Enhancement

Working much like the weapon levels, you can improve your Zoids individual level. Unlike weapons, which usually go to level 20, Zoids can rise to level 50. At this point their stats are exponentially powerful.

Same as before, you can click the plus button to raise numerous levels in one go. It takes about 110,000 metal to bring a Zoid from level 0 to level 50, so start saving!

- Upgrade Zoids

A Zoid Upgrade is a permanent change to your Zoid, which directs its stats into one of three specialized paths. These upgrades even enhance stats that aren't effected by level, such as Search Range and Speed. You can upgrade a Zoid twice, but the second path is pre-determined by the first, so you'll only have one option.

The first upgrade will cost Memory Banks, and the second upgrade will cost Memory Banks. Both cost a small amount of Metal as well, but it's fairly inconsequential.

    Lower Class Zoids:
    - Require 10 of 1 Memory Chip Color, 2 of the others.
    - Require 5 of 1 Memory Bank Color, 1 of the others.

    Higher Class Zoids:
    - Require 15 of 1 Memory Chip Color, 4 of the others.
    - Require 10 of 1 Memory Bank Color, 2 of the others.

    * Higher class doesn't necessarily mean better, but the original Zoid options had lower costs. The prices increased once they started adding more weapons.
