Website Profile

A hot-blooded man with a strong sense of justice. He manages a courier shop with his partner, Buzz.

His speciality is modifying Zoids, and the Liger he rides as if it were his favorite horse is also a Zoid that he excavated and repaired himself. Due to the mysterious light of Sally's pendant, part of Leo's left side was metallized as the Liger evolved.

Basically, Wild-Blasted Zoid riders cannot operate a Zoid without wearing a B-Proof suit, but Leo can ride without the B-proof suit. He has all-purpose weapons and is skilled at hand-to-hand combat.

He meets Sally, and with Liger, helps search for her grandfather, embarking on a journey to save the Earth.

Metallization

When Leo came in contact with the technology of Sally's pendant during the Beast Liger's transformation, it resulted in parts of his body being metallized. Typically he keeps the visible parts, such as his arm, bandaged up. These structures seem mechanical in nature, and he noted that they didn't cause him any pain. Furthermore, they seem to have given him some natural defenses, as hes used his metallized arm to defend against weapons, including things along the lines of electrical tasers. The metallization of his body also introduced Zoid Genes, which allowed Leo to activate the Zi-Forming terminals.

Possessions

- All Purpose Weapon

This versatile weapon is carried with Leo at all times. It has a wide variety of uses and features, and is even a fairly strong weapon able to knock back Jaminga with the trigger projectile cable on it don't ask us how. The top of the barrel includes a monkey wrench and a stun hammer. The notch behind the 'barrels' is a wire cutter, a pick is contained within the body of the weapon, it has a clamp, and even a convenient d-ring for attaching it to his belt. The wrench attached to the cable is strong enough to carry two people (or at least Leo and Sally), and he often uses it to rapel down structures.

History

Start of a Journey, Meeting Sally Land

Leo originally worked as a courier in Saga City, sharing a building with his business partner and close friend, Buzz Cunningham. This easy-going life was uprooted when, during one of their parts-excavating missions into the outskirts, they came across a young girl being hunted by Jaminga and the Empire alike. Determined not to let this frightened girl fall into the military's hands, Leo and Buzz took her back to their home base. There they learned of Sally and her grandfather's mission to save the world from total ruin, and agreed to help her on her quest to find her grandfather.

Activation of the Regeneration Cube, Episode 8

As the group stumbled across a town frozen in time, Leo recognized the effects as something his father had written about during his travels. They navigated into a massive sink hole in the middle of the street, where they discovered the first Regeneration Cube. According to Sally, they needed to activate these in order to save the world from the failed Zi Forming. It was discovered that during his metallization process, Zoid Genes had been created in Leo's body, allowing him to activate the Regeneration Cube.

The Beast Liger's End, Episode 11

After the revival of the Genospino, the Republic chose to launch a major offensive from the city fortress of Mosaic, the one major stop before the Zoid would reach Neo Helic. Leo joined the crew to fight against it, using an Impact Cannon equipped to the Beast Liger to drop one of Mosaic's walls on their attacker. Unfortunately, the Genospino remained undamaged, and a violent attack followed after. With his Zoid nearly torn to pieces, Leo rushed to make repairs while the Genospino moved on from Mosaic.
