- Notable Facts

  • The scrap dealers that Land was trading with possessed 1 Gilraptor (piloted by the leader) and 1 Spideath (piloted by the two subordinates). Land had the Zoids destroyed when they tried to extort him for a better reward, after finding out that the excavated parts went to the Genospino.

  • Jo notes that even among Republican Scientists, The Z-O Visor is complex technology, so it was unusual that Byrne would've been able to remove it from the Gatling Fox. It turns out that it was Walter Bowman who removed the Fox's visor for Byrne.

  • Giller is said to be the most capable soldier in the Empire, and was selected to become the pilot of the Genospino.

  • The B-Proof Suit protects the pilot from the impact of the Wild Blast.

  • The Z-O Visor brings out the maximum abilities of a Zoid.

  • Land's ultimate goal was to create the most powerful Zoid, and he dedicated his life to this goal. In this regard, the Empire had a clear advantage, in both environment and capital. So, he switched sides.

  • The Republic's ship landed a year before the Empire's, and had already begun excavating Zoids and developing weapons. So, the Empire, in an effort to catch up, recruited Dr. Land.

  • While the Empire was able to discover the Genospino's fossil, extreme tectonic movements had left it in bad shape, and some pieces had been scattered around the landscape.

  • It is said that during the Zoid Crisis of the 21st century, Genospino was responsible for destroying a third of the planet in a single night. The Empire sought to revive it to end the power struggle between the two nations, and higher ups like Brigadier Collins saw it as the key to peace, due to the assured destruction of trying to fight it.

  • The Genospino requires a pilot with well-honed control techniques.

  • Bowman traded his watch to the scrap dealers in exchange for an old defunct jeep, which he was able to get running by using a mysterious machine. The underside of the lid is engraved with the initials WB (Walter Bowman). Jo takes the watch from the scrap dealers and returns it to Sally.

  • - Zoid Profile: Sniptera

    Pteranodon-Type Zoid
The red unit is Giller's personal Zoid, known as the Red Reaper

    Machine Blast:
      Absolute Shot

Sniptera. A medium-sized Pteranodon-type Zoid that specialises in sniping from the air. The red Sniptera piloted by Christopher Giller, an Empire Army ace with the nickname "Red Reaper", finishes off enemy Zoids thanks to Lieutenant Giller's calm judgement and skilful piloting. Its power is feared by the Republic Army. When the Sniptera uses its Machine Blast, its mouth opens and a sniper rifle protrudes from its throat. At the same time, it drops the Scope Crest on its head forwards, thermally detects the enemy Zoid, sets its sights and fires. Opponents are helpless against its Absolute Shot, fired from the sky with high accuracy.
