History

First Appearance, Episode 16

Louise received word that rebels had been captured with a 'fake' letter from her son. Since he wasn't available to confirm its validity, she took it upon herself to investigate. At the jail she instantly recognized Dr. D, and released them, returning Sieg to Bang in the process. She appealed to Dr. D to return to the Republican Army and assist them with the war, but Dr. D was an old man, and no longer wanted any part in wars.

Search Mission, Episode 17

When Rob Hermann went missing during an investigation, O'Connell, one of his subordinates, wanted to start a search operation. Louise denied this request, as the area was shrouded in jamming snow that was not only blocking communication but also visibility, getting soldiers lost in the storm.

Guylos Empire Invasion, Episode 18

When Prozen's fleet landed on the coast of New Helic City, he proposed a cease fire to Louise. This was a vicious offer, contingent on the Republic's unconditional surrender, the disarmament of their forces, and the forfeiture of all civilian assets and civil rights. Her people would live, but with nothing left. He gave a tight deadline of only four hours to make a decision, leaving her with some hard choices to make. Her son, Rob, appealed to the people, knowing full well that his father would never surrender, even if it meant death. By sheer grace, Rudolph, the to-be Emperor who'd just lost his ruling grandfather ordered Prozen to stand down, sparing Louise what may have been the hardest decision of her life.

Battle of Guygalos, Episode 33 ~ 34

When the crowned prince, who'd been declared dead finally made his way back to the Empire, Prozen's subordinates surrounded the castle of Homalev, the man sheltering him. With little choice, Homalev reached out to Louise, asking for the Republic's support in defending Guygalos. It was a critical choice that could've had a drastic impact on the Empire's future. She elected to support Rudolph's claim to the throne, and sent reinforcements to defend Guygalos from Prozen and his Death Saurer.

Guardian Force

New Threat, Episode 35

Just as a new era of peace was settling over Planet Zi, Rudolph reached out to Louise to inform her of an unknown threat that'd attacked an important military unit. After the assault they'd fled to Republic territory. Though her son Hermann investigated, he was shot down, and with all of their major bases destroyed, they had no means of identifying the attacker. She met with the other heads of the Republic, including Krueger, who proposed reaching out to their close allies such as Bang Freiheit. They decided to establish the Guardian Force for the express purpose of hunting down rebels that would use Zoids for sinister purposes.

Summit Meeting, Episode 48

While traveling to a summit meeting with Emperor Rudolph, Louise was kidnapped by Hiltz. He commandeered the Presidential Hammer Head that they'd boarded and shot down her escorts, hiding the Zoid in the canyons. She herself was placed on a stolen Dibison controlled by Hiltz's Organoid. It proceeded to attack the site of the summit meeting with her still on board, making it difficult for them to counter attack. They nearly succeeded in killing Rudolph before Irvine showed up in his Lightning Saix. As soon as he'd taken out the accompanying Gun Snipers, Ambient drove the Dibison towards a cliff. The swift Saix was able to get ahead of them, shooting out the Dibison's leg before it could reach the ledge. Ambient left, and Louise was saved.

The Fall of New Helic City, Episode 59

Hiltz and his Death Stinger were heading for New Helic City, and Louise wasn't blind to the terrible threat they represented. By coordinating with Emperor Rudolph she began a mass evacuation of the citizens. During a meeting with other high-powered individuals of the Republic they were interrupted by a hologram of Hiltz himself. When she asked why he was doing all of this, his startling answer was that only the strong had the right to survive, and that he intended to wipe out the weak. This only confirmed that they needed to fight as hard as possible. Louise thanked Schwarz for coming to lend his aid in defending the city, and emphasized to her people that this fight was not about winning, but simply delaying the Death Stinger as long as possible so that evacuations could be completed. When the bulk of their forces had fallen, and the citizens had been properly evacuated, Louise made the call to abandon New Helic City. She ordered all soldiers to fall back to Wendeen Lake.

The Ultra Saurus, Episode 60

At Wendeen Lake, Louise took her position in one of the offices of the Ultra Saurus, a massive Zoid that'd been discovered some years before. Around the same time that the Guardian Force had been established, the Empire and the Republic had begun working on the Ultra as a joint project to fight a common enemy. It would be their last stand. However, Hiltz's forces attacked the Ultra in the now-emptied lake, threatening to kill their final hope before it could even awaken. Even as her assistant begged for her to evacuate, she refused. If the Ultra were lost, it would be the end of the Republic. She intended to stay until that final moment. Thankfully she didn't have to. The Ultra awoke and escaped by a hair, fleeing across the sea.

Sea Battle, Episode 61

Louise was asked for approval by Hermann for them to take the Ultra Saurus through the incredibly-dangerous methane ice fields, where they intended to lure the Death Stinger in a gamble to get it off their tail. She felt that Hermann, the commander now making such a request and her own son had inherited his father's strength of character. She granted him the authority to make the decision.
