Kotobukiya has announced the rerelease of some of their D-Style kits as new [Clear Parts Append] versions, which has excited quite a few fans! The Shield Liger and Command Wolf Irvine are already up for pre-order, and they've already confirmed the Gustav to be rereleased as well. Each kit will comed with clear colorless parts in addition to the clear colored parts, such as canopies. This allows you to paint them in your favorite colors. A recent blog article shows this off with a custom red-painted Imperial Shield Liger. The photos recreated some of the Battle Story images!

    Oh no, the Blade Ligers are multiplying! We've added a ton of reviews for Blade Liger related items, starting with these bootlegs from STK and Dragon Momoko. Some of them include custom box art (simply recolored from the standard) and even custom colored instructions. Those that don't have had the box scans and instructions simply left out, since they're the same as the official blue D-Style Blade Liger.

    We've also added a review for the official Blade Liger Limited. Version (Blue), which was a chrome D-Style Blade Liger. Rather poor quality, but awfully shiny!

    Another review for the D-Style Blade Liger Limited Red version has been added. This is the chrome kit. There are a lot of quality control issues but it's still a really nice color and a cute little figure.

    Now on to Zoids news! We may have missed stuff here, this update was a little rushed. Nonetheless, Kotobukiya has revealed the new Chrome parts for Fire Fox and Shadow Fox. We saw these announced earlier but there were not clear photos of them actually attached to the foxes. There are now! Even if they are small and Shadow Fox oriented. You can view them here.

    Just before that they announced the next D-Style: Iron Kong! This is quite a surprise that we certainly weren't expecting, but it's a nice surprise. The kit looks good but there is definitely some funkiness with seeing the attachments through the mouth (although that may be unavoidable). It can be viewed here.

    A re-release for the original HMM Saber Tiger, Liger Zero Schneider, and D-Style Blade Liger has been announced for late September. Pre-order links have been added to the up-coming Zoid releases.
