The HMM section has been updated with the story and fuselage explanations for the Pteras Bomber, Red Horn, and Saber Tiger. The fuselage explanation has been added for the Gun Sniper Leena Special. The Pteras Bomber page also now has the freely-distributed wallpaper from the old Kotobukiya blog, which they distributed to give fans a backdrop to use for photographing their flying Zoids~

 In a shocking turn of events Kotobukiya has announced that they'll be remaking the Shield Liger as an entirely new design! This is the first new mold we've seen in a while, and it's definitely not what anyone was expecting. After all, they'd discussed wanting to focus on new designs instead of remakes back when the Shield Liger DCS-J was announced. It's a pleasant surprise, and opens up a lot of possibilities for their Zoid designs. This redesign in particular fixes many of the aesthetic complaints people had about the old one. The new Liger is far more robust with the blocky design we've come to expect from the first Liger. AmiAmi, Hobby Japan and Yodobashi Hobby posted some additional photos.

 Kotobukiya has announced the Salamander F2, and man is it gorgeous! Featuring stormy silvers, a deep blue canopy, and chrome gold wings, this kit is a perfect follow up to the more tame-colored original release. Yodobashi Hobby has some additional photos.

 Harry's Dark Horn is joining the HMM lineup of anime kits getting a new release! If the photos are accurate it looks like it'll feature a much more anime-accurate yellow-toned gold than the previous release's orange-gold detailing, along with a paler green interior body frame. This photo by Hobby Japan shows off the color and shine better, and there are some more photos by AmiAmi and Yodobashi Hobby.

 Quite a few people missed out on the Death Stinger Hiltz, which is now up for rerelease as the 2000 Recolor version! This kit is scheduled to release in August for 22,000 yen as a Kotobukiya Shop Exclusive. Like before it'll include plated parts and will include unpainted figures for Hiltz (standing and sitting) and Ambient. The Blade Liger miniature that comes with the kit will still be painted, featuring colors closer to the anime than the previous version with brighter blues and pale fangs.  Schwarz's Iron Kong is also up for a rerelease, featuring darker more subdued colors that closer match the anime. Its official page features a number of photos that recreate famous scenes from the show, and the kit is scheduled to release in June for 21,450 Yen.

 The anime variants just keep rolling, with the Storm Sworder Ala Barone the next up to get an anime recolor kit. This kit features slightly toned down reds and will include clear orange pieces that simulate the charged up energy state of the blades, only with more fluorescent orange this time. It'll include unpainted figures for Rosso and Viola (sitting and standing.) This kit is scheduled to release in August for 12,980 Yen. You can view more details in the LABO article.

 Both HMM art books recently received digital releases, which feature beautiful clean artwork from the HMM series and more! You can find these on most stores that sell Japanese E-Books such as Amazon JP, Book-Walker, etc. Be sure to understand how the books are viewed so you know what you're getting into!

 Kotobukiya posted a LABO Article going over the Lightning Saix Irvine and Gun Sniper Leena. It includes a ton of anime screenshot recreations as well as good looks at the two kits in their default colors.

 The 63rd All Japan Model Hobby Show is starting tomorrow, and we've seen a heaping ton of exciting reveals. T-Spark will be among those exhibiting at the event. Perhaps one of the most exciting developments was the launch of a new animated video, Zoids Battle Films. In this animated short we see multiple toylines featured, including RMZ and HMM, with a peculiar Death Saurer reminiscent of the Concept Art universe. We have no context yet about this animation. If it's a one off, why certain pilots seem so familiar, or what to expect going forward. For now, though? It's exciting to have a new animation. At the start, I almost thought it'd be the battle of Valhalla. I have to admit, seeing Falcon viewed in a doomier light was such a cool perspective.

 Kotobukiya's promo twitter made two exciting announcements today, the Lightning Saix Irvine Spec. Recolor 2000 and the HMM Gun Sniper Rinnon Spec. Re/color 2001 with a slash through it because... y'know. NC/0!. We don't know yet what exactly these rereleases will entail. If they'll include anime pilots, painted or otherwise, what 'recolor' will mean, or what other changes they may still have. Even so, it's exciting news for fans who missed the earlier waves of anime Zoids, and have waited patiently for another chance!

 The Cannon Tortoise MPV released, and we got to see some brand new box art for the kit! Funny enough, it even features a little Shotodile walking beside the tort. It's always nice seeing diverse box art animations like this.

 The HMM Salamander has finally opened for pre-orders! This kit is scheduled to release in December for 29,700 yen. This kit has an insane amount of articulation, able to mimic bird-of-prey poses. It has separate missiles on the back and includes attachment parts to allow you to equip the Gojulas Cannons. These will be releasing in December for 5,940 yen. If you pre-order the Salamander through Kotobukiya Direct you'll also receive gold pilots (7) and decals based on the OJR Salamander.  Two new HMM articles are up, one featuring the decals from the Molga Full Option Set (which looks excellent in those colors!) and one for the Command Wolf AC & LC Marking Plus Ver.. The Command Wolf even includes decals in blue to match the old Tomy box art!

 The box art for the HMM Molga Full Option Set has been revealed! This artwork is a nice counterpart for the Command Wolf box, which features another group of Zoids firing at an off-screen enemy.

 Two new reissues have been announced for the HMM line, the Great Sabre MPV and the Shadow Fox MPV! Both are scheduled to release in December, with Great Sabre being released for 8,800 Yen and Shadow Fox for 5,940 Yen.

 An unpainted/undetailed color test shot of the HMM Salamander was shown off at the Shizuoka Hobby Show, our first look at this big bird in color! Some extra unpainted prototype photos were posted on their web site showing off the excellent range of motion the kit has, especially with the legs and claws. The final picture shown on this page shows that it can equip the CP-10 Gojulas Cannons, making many ponder about a potential rerelease of the CP or even a potential Salamander Bombvern variant.

 Kotobukiya has announced their next Marking Plus Version, the Cannon Tortoise! Similar to the Dibison, this kit will feature new molded colors closer to the bluer-greens of the newer models. It'll include additional decals and clear colorless plastic in addition to its typical orange, as well as the OJR small Zoid caps first released with the Redler. It's scheduled to release in September for 5,280 yen (tax included) and a LABO article has already been posted to show it off (gotta love the humor shown in this poor little guy's face!)

 The next CAS to be rereleased is the Liger Zero X! This kit is scheduled for rerelease in September for 9,900 yen (tax included.)

 The HMM Command Wolf AC & LC Marking Plus Version has just released, compiling all of the Command Wolf weapons into a single box complete with additional clear colorless parts. A post by one of Kotobukiya's stores also revealed its box art, depicting a mid-battle wolf pack scene by Mercy Rabbit!
