 The Gabrigator is a semi-aquatic amphibious Zoid, able to fight both on land and on the sea. In the show they're almost exclusively depicted as part of the Imperial Army, with Z-O Visors covering the standard eyes. The one pictured above appeared during Earth's Zoid Crisis. Gabrigators typically have their cockpit located on the middle of the back.

 Name not official. This variation of the Gabrigator features a Z-O Visor covering the eyes. This brings the Zoid under control, allowing Imperial soldiers to pilot it with greater precision. They're frequently used for aquatic support during field operations.

Equipment Information

Smoke Discharger


 Gabrigator is equipped with Smoke Dischargers as part of its standard equipment. This equipment expels a cloud of white smoke, allowing the Zoid to escape. While the Smoke Dischargers typically refer to the equipment on the back, in the show, the smoke emerges from all over the Zoid.

Grappling Cable


 In Episode 4 these Zoids are depicted using grappling cables that attach to the opposite cliff, allowing them to jump from one side to the other. Once they hit the other cliff face, they're then able to climb straight up the wall without any need for the cable.

 Name unofficial. An Imperial Gabrigator equipped with two AZ 10-Shot Maneuver Missile Pods. These dangerous Zoids are often used to attack from the ocean, submerging to get close to their target, then surfacing to fire their shots.

History

Training Exercises, Episode 3

At least a couple Gabrigator (Empire Spec. MM) were used during training exercises for the Empire's Sniptera (the Red Reaper).


Invasion of Archeological Compound, Gabrigator MM, Episode 4

Several Gabrigators accompanied Douglas Aldridge and his Stylaser during a mission to overtake an archeological compound that had been cordoned off by the Republic. They were defeated by Leo and the work of Jo Aysel's team.

AZ 10-Shot Maneuver Missile Pods


 These 10-shot missiles have vertical doors that open up to the front and bottom of the unit when in use. They can fire a volley of 10 shots, each of which seem to follow the enemy.
