 The Wind Colony is a key location most recognized as the home of protagonist Bang Freiheit of the Zoids Chaotic Century anime/manga. It appears to be a quiet rural village with a lot of farming locations and a large lake nearby.

Bandit Attack, Episode 2

When Bang brought Fine and the Organoid, Sieg back to the Wind Colony it caused quite a stir. It wasn't long before bandits showed up looking to take the Organoid for themselves. They took Maria Freiheit hostage and demanded they hand over the Organoid. The village elder and Leon agreed, feeling that no Zoid was worth a life. In spite of their attempts to stick to the deal the Desert Arcobaleno Gang reneged on their end. They kept Maria hostage, prompting Bang to attack the group in order to get her back. Realizing just how problematic keeping Sieg around would be, Bang later chose to leave the Wind Colony and start his own journey, hoping that if he took Sieg with him no further harm would befall his home.


Stealth Viper Attack, Episode 35

After Bang discovered a wrecked Gustav in the desert, with none other than Fine and Dr. D inside, he took them back to the Wind Colony to recuperate at his home. However, he later saw Hiltz, a man that would later become one of his worst adversaries lingering around the graveyard. Soon after that, his sister, Maria, ran into a mysterious red Organoid that caused her to faint. He would face off against this Organoid, with Sieg's help, only to have it retreat and fuse to a Stealth Viper that then attacked the village. Thankfully, Bang and his Blade Liger were able to defeat it rather quickly. This was one of the first documented attacks by Hiltz.

Introduction

 The Wind Colony also contains a church, where Reverend Leon hangs out. Though not much is known about their religion, it was clarified by the author of the manga, Michiro Ueyama, that it wasn't Christianity. The structure has a large bell tower on top and thin stained glass windows.

Introduction

 One of the key locations of the Wind Colony is the Freiheit household. The structure is filled with weaving tools and textiles, with Maria Freiheit making many of them. A knife belonging to their father hung on the walls for many years, until Maria Freiheit gave it to Bang right before he joined the Guardian Force.
