- Zoids
As the very first anime series, Zoids follows the adventure of Bang Freiheit and an ancient Zoidian girl named Fine (who you may recall from their English names, Van and Fiona). Together they search for the meaning of Zoid Eve, a mysterious power from Fiona's past, and try to recover Fiona's long lost memories. Along the way, they become involved in the ongoing conflict between the Helic Republic and Guylos Empire, which rapidly escalates as the political landscape of the Guylos Empire begins to shift.
One of the earliest animes to seamlessly integrate CG mecha animation in a cel-shading styles, Western fans may know these series better as Zoids "Chaotic Century" and its second part, Zoids "Guardian Force", or the popular fan term 'Zoids Classic' in Japan. To this day, it remains one of the most iconic animes of the series, in spite of its wide number of animation projects. Because of the volume of information to cover, some sections may be divided into Chaotic Century and Guardian Force categories.

- Zoids Guardian Force
After years in military training, Bang has gone on to become a member of the Guardian Force, a joint task force between the Guylos Empire and the Helic Republic. He continues his journey with Fine to discover the secrets of Zoid Eve, but there are far more ominous entities looking to use the Eve for their own gain.
Guardian Force, the second half of the classic Zoids anime dives back into the Zoid Eve story with brand new bad guys and higher stakes battles. This is a fan favorite, with all of our favorite characters returning for the show.

- Extra Details
The starting concepts for this series were made by Michiro Ueyama, who also handled the manga. In Japan, it's pretty typical for the mangas to run alongside the anime, starting at almost the same time (in this case, a couple months difference.) As the weekly anime quickly outpaces the monthly manga, the two stories diverge after Episode 1 (with the opening story still having some differences.)
Ueyama also designed a decent chunk of the characters, especially from the first half of the series. This includes the main cast.
