Introduction

Rot is one of Metternich's men, their group having been hired to assassinate the crowned prince, Rudolph. He's relatively quiet and doesn't speak much, so not much is known about him.

Rocket Launcher

Rot used a rocket launcher to try and take out the Desert Arcobaleno Gang. If Rosso's assessment is correct, the weapons used by his group were from the Empire's special ops units.

Like the other members of the group, Rot carries a gun.

History

Assassination Plot, Episode 19

Rot joined Metternich and Deris in a plot to kill crowned prince Rudolph. While waiting for the right opportunity they sniffed out the Desert Arcobaleno Gang, who happened to also be sniffing around the palace. They followed them back to their hideout, and Rot thought he'd killed them with a rocket launcher. They were just fine, however, and circled back to take out the Command Wolves the group had been given. They also succeeded in kidnapping the young Emperor, leaving Rot's group to pick up the pieces. With little choice they stole the Dark Horns piloted by the palace guards who were investigating the situation, Rot and Deris sharing a two-seater variant, then went after Rosso and his gang.

Exchange, Episode 20

Rosso's intention was to sell Rudolph to the highest buyer, and Metternich's group was willing to deal. They thought this would be fairly straight forward. Load the briefcase with explosives, detonate it once it was in Rosso's grasp. Take out the only witness. Rot even showed them it was full of money to sweeten the deal and make sure they held onto it. Rosso saw through the plan, however, and once he realized that they intended to kill Rudolph, he had a change of heart. He threw the case back at them as soon as he had it, requiring Metternich to draw his gun and fire on the case, detonating it before it could reach them. Their Dark Horns were then hit by sweeping fire from Viola's Redler, further delaying their plans.

Pursuit of the Prince, Episode 23

After Bang helped Rudolph escaped the group pursued them through an abandoned mine. At one point, Metternich was knocked off a board walk. Rot grabbed him at the last second but was dragged over himself, then caught by Deris. They were just barely able to hang on, with Rot having saved Metternich's life.

Stinger, Episode 24 ~ 25

While repairing their Dark Horns the group was caught by Stinger, who quickly disabled them all with a paralytic gas. He demanded to be let in on their plans at a 70% cut, and unable to move they had no choice but to accept his offer. He had Rot and Metternich chase him through the desert, setting up a scenario where he'd be "rescued" by Moonbay and thus infiltrate their group. After he poisoned them, too, Metternich rejoined Stinger and Rot stayed in his Dark Horn to guard.

He wasn't aware that Deris, who'd been loaned Stinger's custom Guysack to kill Bang had lost the Zoid to the child. The Guysack attacked him, and when he tried to fire on it, it dug underground. When they came back up it was right under the Dark Horn's feet, tipping it into the sand.
