Introduction
Deris is a member of Metternich's group, a band that was hired by Prozen for the purpose of assassinating the crowned prince of Guylos. His group was always relatively quiet and didn't speak much, so not much is known about him.

History
Assassination Attempt, Episode 19
Deris was part of Metternich's group, hired to assassinate the crowned prince, Rudolph. They received three Command Wolves for this operation, intending to make it look as if the Republic were responsible. While the group waited for their opportunity Deris noticed others snooping about the palace. He reported Rosso's group to Metternich, and the three of them followed them back to a canyon. After attempting to kill them, the Desert Arcobaleno Gang shot down the three Command Wolves vital to their plan then kidnapped Rudolph themselves.
Exchange, Episode 20
Rosso's intention was to sell Rudolph to the highest buyer, and Metternich's group was willing to deal. They thought this would be fairly straight forward. Load the briefcase with explosives, detonate it once it was in Rosso's grasp. Take out the only witness. Rosso saw through the plan, however, and once he realized that they intended to kill Rudolph, he had a change of heart. He threw the case back at them as soon as he had it, requiring Metternich to draw his gun and fire on the case, detonating it before it could reach them. Their Dark Horns were then hit by sweeping fire from Viola's Redler, further delaying their plans.
Pursuit of the Prince, Episode 23
The whole group went after Rudolph when he escaped through the mines. Their attempts were nearly fumbled when Metternich fell over a ledge that surely would've ended in his death, had Rot not tried to catch him. Deris then grabbed Rot, who was also going over the ledge, and managed to hang onto the side. If not for him, the entire group may've fallen to their deaths.
Guysack SS, Episode 24 ~ 25
When the group was paralyzed by Stinger and forced to invite him into their group, Deris was given Stinger's custom Guysack. He was to use it to destroy Bang, but somehow, failed in this task. Bang got onto the face of the Zoid, and after accidentally hitting a hatch open button on the front, opened the cockpit. He took the Zoid from Deris, then used it to fight the rest of the group.
