History

First Appearance, Episode 2

When other members of the gang came back with stories about a strange wild Zoid that'd resurrected a Shield Liger, Rosso instantly clocked it as an Organoid. Viola wasn't so convinced, certain that Organoids were nothing more than children's stories. Even so, she trusted Rosso's judgement. He sent the members of the gang out to capture the Organoid.

Organoid Capture Attempt, Episode 4

To Rosso, capturing Bang's Organoid was more than just a novelty. He wanted to use it to get back into the Imperial Army. He joined the crew in running a second capture attempt, believing that if they were truly dealing with an Organoid that the rest of the group wouldn't be able to take it alone. He was largely successful in the battle against Bang and Irvine, even going so far as to threaten Bang's life. His arrogance got the best of him. Bang fired not at Rosso's Zoid, but the ground beneath it, causing the local aquifers to erupt. The damage disabled his Zoid and the two Command Wolves supporting it.

Imperial Plot, Episode 7

Marcus, a member of the Empire, came to the Desert Arcobaleno Gang with a unique offer. If they took a Pteras and attacked the Republic side during the stand off at Red River, they'd allow them back into the Empire. This was promising, at first. Rosso agreed, and Viola was the pilot chosen to carry out the mission. Unfortunately, when the plan was exposed, Marcus blamed the Arcobaleno gang for the crime, dodging any responsibility himself.

Disbanding, Episode 8

After the Desert Arcobaleno Gang got left taking the blame for the attack at Red River, Rosso decided that getting Bang's Organoid was the only way to get them out of the situation. His gang tried to round up members of Bang's group, but they failed to capture Sieg. Rosso himself stood up to face the Shield Liger after Sieg fused to it. Though he took some hits, he shattered the E-Shield and could've finished the Liger had the Empire not interfered. He knew that they needed someone to take the fall for what happened at Red River, and he figured that the only person they really wanted was the leader of the group. So, he disbanded the Desert Arcobaleno Gang then and there, allowing his subordinates to escape while he was to be arrested.

Prison Break, Episode 19

Rosso was busted out of prison by the remnants of the disbanded Desert Arcobaleno Gang, and given an Iron Kong by Viola. She explained that they intended to kidnap the prince, but while investigating this option, they ended up at odds with Metternich's group. They attacked their Command Wolves, drawing the attention of the two Dark Horns guarding the palace. Rosso and Viola then broke in and kidnapped Rudolph while everyone was distracted.

Exchange, Episode 20

Rosso intended to turn Rudolph over to the highest bidder, and arranged to meet with Metternich's group for an exchange. If they wanted him so badly, they could pay. However, once he considered that they might be planning to kill Rudolph, he started to have a change of heart. During the exchange he figured the brief case of money was rigged, and threw it back at their group. He snatched Rudolph and ran, retreating in the Iron Kong while Viola provided air support.

The Geno Saurer, Episode 21

Now that they were stuck with Rudolph, Rosso and Viola started to look after him more kindly. Or, at least, they tried. When the boy went missing they both set out to find him. Viola's Redler was shot down by the Geno Saurer and Rosso picked her up in the woods. They then rushed to the battlefield, and realizing what a terrifying Zoid they were up against, they chose to sacrifice themselves by holding the Geno Saurer back with the Iron Kong. The Zoid electrified their Kong until it had no fight left in it, then continued its pursuit.

Heroes of the Sky, Episode 29

When Rosso next appeared it was as the masked hero, the Baron of Wings (Ala Barone). Following the events against Raven's Geno Saurer, Rosso and Viola were rescued by Dr. D and the Republic. Now that they'd recovered, both vouched for them to test pilot the Republic's new state-of-the-art aircraft, the Storm Sworder. The test went fairly well, but once a communication came in about the crowned prince having been spotted, they faked a communication drop and flew into imperial air space. There they confronted Ralph and Mueller's Black Redler force, foiling Ralph's intentions to have Rudolph killed. They would continue to appear periodically to resolve just about any and all aerial complications for the main group.

Return of the Prince, Episode 33 ~ 34

Rosso showed up just in time to rescue Rudolph, who was under siege alongside his trusted advisor, Homalev. Viola offered him a ride to Guygalos while Rosso fought off their pursuers. In particular, Ralph, who pursued with his Black Redler unit. After dispatching the Redlers, Rosso radioed Hermann and informed him that Prozen was indeed planning something big in Guygalos, which urged the Republican forces forward in their march.

At the capital Prozen had launched his new Death Saurer. With the particle cannon already being used to raze the city, a plan was quickly formed to equip the Storm Sworders with Triple Sword Missiles: Spears that could be impaled into the charged particle intake fan on the back of the Death Saurer. Their hope was that this would disable the particle beam. While Viola's Storm Sworder was knocked out of the sky Rosso followed up and succeeded in jamming the cannon, at least temporarily. Unfortunately the torque of the fan's mechanisms was too strong. It dislodged the missiles and continued firing its assortment of weapons until it was taken down by Bang's Blade Liger.

Guardian Force

Storm Sworder Stealth Battle, Episode 45

Though allegedly on guard duty in Guygalos, Rosso, Viola, and Rudolph showed up in their Storm Sworders to confront the stolen Stealth units from Dragonhead Base. Ralph took out Viola's Storm Sworder, but his battle against Rosso closely mirrored their Guygalos battle. Rosso flipped his Storm Sworder over Ralph's, carving straight through its back with the head sword.

The Guylos Grand Prix, Episode 53

When the Empire received word that Prozen loyalists had hired an assassin to take out Emperor Rudolph, it was generally agreed that the most likely place for this to transpire was the Guylos Grand Prix. Every year the emperor opened the ceremonies, giving their enemies a perfect opportunity. Rosso and Viola both showed up to guard his booth. Towards the end of the event there were explosions nearby, prompting them both to move into the hall where they were targeted by smoke canisters. The Phantom made his way into the room and fired at what he thought was Rudolph, only to learn it was a hologram. Rosso, Viola, Bang, and Thoma flooded into the room after him. Trapped, he had no choice but to surrender.

The Gravity Cannon, Episode 61

While Rudolph and Homalev were visiting a secret base, where Dr. D was carrying out the development of the Gravity Cannon, the largest weapon ever built, Hiltz sent forces to destroy the facility. It was overrun by Black Redlers and Stealth Vipers, and they would've been forced to abandon the facility had Rosso and Viola not shown up in their Storm Sworders to destroy the attacking Zoids.

Defense of Mt. Iselina, Episode 63

For a time, Rosso, Rudolph, and Viola were helping to keep track of the Death Stinger. It eventually disappeared from their radar, and they reported this back to the Ultra Saurus. During field tests the Ultra then received emergency transmissions from the Sand Colony that the Death Stinger had surfaced there, then headed northwest towards Mt. Iselina, Viola's home. The tests were too important to cancel, so Rosso and Viola insisted that they continue while they went to defend the colony. While Viola tried to rescue her sister, Rosso distracted the Death Stinger, narrowly diving between shots. Hiltz responded by simply destroying the entire village with the particle cannon. Thankfully, the distraction helped buy enough time for evacuations to be carried out.
