Introduction


 Blu is a member of the Desert Arcobaleno Gang, and the first antagonist to show up in the series. He's fairly low-ranked among the gang, it seems, given he wasn't on the list to get a Zoid of his own.

Notable Facts


  • Blu's Guysack was an old wild Zoid that he captured.

  • At one point an at-distance shot of the gang's camp showed a normal Guysack, likely intended to be Blu's. This was likely an animation error rather than an intended change, however.

History

First Appearance, Episode 1

Blu first appeared attacking Bang, a young kid with his Guysack. Having been skipped over when his boss was distributing Zoids to the group, he wanted to prove himself in the first Zoid he got, an old wild Guysack. He chased Bang up some desert ruins, and when the boy was out of reach he started ramming the building. The old dead Gojulas that'd been slumped against the structure collapsed, burying his Zoid in rubble.

After being dug out by his team mates, Bianco and Nero, Blu once again went after Bang. He entered the ruin and attacked the young boy and the strange silver Organoid he saw with him, believing it to just be an unusual wild Zoid. Much to his surprise, the small Zoid sprouted boosters and rammed his Guysack back through the ruin. His team mates and their Command Wolves were later defeated when it merged to, and revived an old abandoned Shield Liger.


Organoid Capture Attempt, Episode 4

Blu joined the gang in trying to capture Sieg. His Guysack intercepted the Shield Liger as it approached the field, hoping to help Irvine and his Command Wolf. He didn't last but a couple seconds, though. His Guysack was shot down by the Shield Liger's missiles.


Disbanding, Episode 8

After the Desert Arcobaleno Gang got left taking the blame for an attack at Red River that they'd been hired by the Empire to do in the first place, the gang leader, Rosso, decided that getting Bang's Organoid was the only way to get them out of the situation. Blu joined Nero, Bianco, and Verde in chasing down Bang and Moonbay, eventually resulting in their capture. Unfortunately, before the following battle could conclude the Empire showed up. Rosso elected to disband the gang rather than let them take the fall for the Red River failure.
