Introduction


 Rokai's a fear-stricken soldier from the Imperial Army who became trapped behind enemy lines. He would've died there, had Bang Freiheit not saved him.

 Rokai carries a picture of his mother, which was found in the debris of New Helic City when his Command Wolf attacked. Fine then returned it to him.

History

First Appearance, Episode 16

When Rokai first appeared he'd escaped from the Republican Army and was being pursued by radical citizens in New Helic City, who intended to lynch him. He was saved by Bang and Sieg, but still had to get out of the city. Along his way he discovered an open hangar, with a Power-Reinforced Command Wolf standing amid a pack of normal wolves. He stole it, blasting his way out of the city. Once escaped, he still ran into Bang, who toppled his wolf with the Shield Liger. The boy then chased him down, and nearly punched him, but broke down in tears before instead. Irvine and the others caught up, with Fine returning Rokai's picture of his mother. Irvine ran him off, and he fled for his life.


Repayment, Episode 27

When Rokai's superior officer was examining photos of their prisoners Rokai recognized Bang Freiheit as the boy who'd once saved him. He saw his opportunity to repay him for all the hurt he'd caused out of fear, and broke them out of their cell, even going so far as to knock out the guards. When the group refused to leave without Sieg, he even helped them go back for their Organoid. As they fled through the woods, their escape finally discovered, Rokai revealed that he'd grown up in the area. The mother he'd wanted so badly to see when he returned home had already passed on. Even so, he was so familiar with the area that he was able to lead them to safety. He knew he couldn't return to the Empire after what he'd done, so he lead the soldiers away while the others escaped. After reaching a waterfall he jumped off the ledge, losing the soldiers. When he climbed back out of the water he ripped away the imperial arm band and fled into the woods.
