Introduction


 Mueller is Ralph's subordinate, often backing him in air combat situations. Though he loyally follows Ralph's orders, regardless of where they take them, he seems to have a bit more of a level head.

History

Training Battle, Episode 29

Mueller joined the training battle pitting Ebenei Air Base's Black Redler force against Karl Schwarz and his Saber Tiger SS. He was defeated in the test battle, but later joined an active fight against a so-called imposter of Rudolph. Even after it was revealed to be the real one his unit continued to attack. They were eventually cut down by Rosso and Viola's new Storm Sworders.


The Three Guards, Episode 31

Ralph and Mueller set out to hire the Three Guards, elite but retired Saber Tiger pilots to assist in killing the 'imposter' Rudolph. Though they agreed under the terms that they fight the unit alone, they took advantage of the Blade Liger already being damaged and attacked in the middle of the fight. Their Black Redlers were shot down by Wagner, who wouldn't have them interfering in an honorable fight.



Guardian Force

Return, Episode 45

Mueller pretended to be base personnel to sneak into Dragonhead Base, smuggling his former superior, Ralph, in with him. After they'd lost the territory of the Eisenbeck Unit, they'd teamed up with Hiltz. Mueller was nervous about this decision. He didn't trust the man, but Ralph reminded him that they lived on the battlefield anyway, and that nobody from the Empire was going to help.

Inside Dragonhead they claimed to have been ordered to mobilize the Storm Sworders, but the lie was caught immediately because the Sworders hadn't even been properly installed with all their command systems yet. Ambient attacked Hermann, who was holding them at gun point, giving them the chance to scramble the Sworders. They escaped while their unit's Black Redlers attacked Dragonhead. Mueller then circled back and took out the Redlers so that they couldn't be tracked.

Unfortunately, they needed to return for the command options for the Storm Sworders. They waited until night, when their Zoids would be nearly invisible, then attacked. Though Mueller took down some of the Silver Pteras protecting the base, he hadn't anticipated a flying Liger to the face. His Storm Sworder was sliced through by the Blade Liger's blades, and crashed, leaving Ralph to fend for himself.
