- C6: A Meetup, an Opening, and a Grand Appearance

 No one has come to the meeting point yet.

"Is anybody here?"

 I try asking, but there's no response. Since we all planned to meet up today at noon, it seems I'm a little early.

 When I open the canopy, there's a magnificient landscape beneath the blue, cloudless sky. The Tatara Highlands, which is a mountain range stretching 3,000 meters. There's a vast sea of trees spread out in front of it, known as the Cursed Forest.

 When I compared the data I had received from the princess of Ya Han, Sona, with the results of our own survey, there was one thing that had become clear. That was that if you followed the direction of the spread of Bio Zoids shown by the two surveys taken at opposite ends of the chart, the highlands were where those two points intersected. So, the Bio Zoids are coming from somewhere in these mountains.

 As I turn around, I see the Kosei Corridor, the road that I and Souga came from, which stretches out alongside the river. After parting ways with Veauregard, I followed this road through the uninhabitated villages and desolate farmland. These places had already become uninhabitable for people because of the appearance of Bio Zoids.

 Speaking of places where people can't live... I turn my eyes back... The same thing is true of this Cursed Forest. I don't know why, but it seems that no one who has gone deep into the forest has returned. We're supposed to go and find out why once we meet up.

"Let's call to them."

 I don't know why, but the idea only just now came to me.

"Maybe we'll get a response."

 I'm just kidding. Sort of.

 Souga slowly raises his head and roars to the sky.

Rooooaaaaarrrrrrr.

 First, a friendly kind of call. Of course, there's no response. Only an echoe returns.

Grrrrrrr.

 Souga changes his tone. This time, it's a fierce, challenging voice.

RRROOOAAAAARRRRR!

 The next second, Souga reacts with a shudder. I also feel something.

 I don't hear any voices or sounds. But I certainly feel something. Someone answered Souga's call. From the sea of trees, where no one should be.

 Looking up at the sky, I see there's still some time before the sun comes up from the south. Besides, Jin and the rest of our friends are supposed to come here after they investigate another location, so they might end up being late. Tsukamoto, who is serving as the liaison for the city, is supposed to join up here, but I haven't seen him yet.

"Let's go."

 As soon as I close the canopy, Souga starts running. Heading for the direction of the response.

- Chapter 6: Part 2

 I was prepared to carve my own path, because the sea of trees was a densely overgrown primeval forest, but as I step in, I find that there's already a way to pass through it. It's so crooked that from the outside you can't see what's going on inside the forest. However, there's plenty of open space where Zoids can run without much difficulty. It's strange that there'd be roads in a place where nobody lives, but it's convenient for me. Souga runs along the mysterious road through the Cursed Forest.

 From the moment I entered the sea of trees, I've been hearing noises from both sides of the road, like rustling or something. Of course, because it's a sea of trees, I can hear the fluttering wings and whispering of birds, but this is a different sound. The sound growls louder as we go deeper into the forest. Even looking around, I can't tell what the sound is.

 Aside from that, there's one more thing I'm worried about. I can feel something behind me, but we haven't turned around. Whichever direction I look, I can only see huge trees and scattering birds.

 When I've finally lost my sense of time, and how long I've been running, the forest suddenly opens up in front of me, and there it is...

"Is this a temple?"

 It's a building that seems like one. It's covered in ivy, so it looks like it's just another part of the sea of trees from a distance, but you can see it clearly when you're nearby. This is a huge man-made structure.

 Souga stops in front of the temple. There's a large entrance where two Zoids are lined up. However, the sturdy iron door is closed. In front of it, Souga slinks down and growls.

 I open the canopy and stand up. To see the temple with my own eyes. Then I hear a voice. Only it's not a sound in my ears, but in my heart.

{{ Did you see it? }}

"Who's there!?"

 I look around, but no one's there.

{{ Did you see it? The secret of this forest. }}

{{ Did you see it? The things that should not be seen. }}

"Who's there? Where are you?"

{{ Because of what you've seen, you must now know. This forest, it's a forbidden land from which you may never return alive. }}

 I feel as if I hear a voice from behind me, and when I turn my gaze, I see something like a claw quickly approaching in front of me.

"Wha—!"

 I instinctively duck down. There's a clunk and the canopy closes, just as something looking like a claw scratches the surface. I can hear the disturbing sound of it. Only then do I see the full image of our enemy. It's a scorpion-type Baratz Zoid. What looked like a claw was a huge poison needle. It was a close call. I didn't close the canopy. Souga closed it to protect me.

 As Souga shakes and shudders, a number of Guystings fall and scatter across the the ground. The Guystings are crawling up Souga's body, and I'm wondering how long they've been creeping upwards. When I look around, the entire surrounding area is covered in Guystings. I can hear their crawling footsteps. Finally, I realize the true nature of the sound I'd been hearing since I entered the sea of trees. We were being watched by these guys the whole time.

(What should I do?)

 I'm a little lost.

(Let's go back and join up with everyone, then start again.)

 If I report this to Jin, I might get scolded for "doing something selfish again." I think about that as I start up a communication.

"The enemy is on the roof! Intercept them!"

 It's Tsukamoto's Voice. His voice is tense. When I shift my eyes, something huge jumps from the roof of the temple. Its eerily curved sword shines brightly in the sunlight.

"Watch out!"

 I grab my sword in a hurry.

"My song is the sound of slashing, and my dance is the glimmer of a white blade."

 The thoughts of the sword become words, and rise in my heart.

"The path we walk is a wicked one, and we'll kill all those who obstruct it."

 Something flies towards the shape with a bang. The enemy's attention shifts towards that.

Clang!

 The enemy's sword bounces back whatever was thrown at it. I take the opportunity to try to cut it.

"Slash!"

 This is also bounced back.. The enemy's movements are very fast.

 The enemy lands with a thud and at the same time jumps forward to make contact. It has the appearance of an agile cheetah type. It's weird though, its mouth is covered with a strange mask so I can't see its face.

 Even so, the other enemy's movements are too fast. I've only seen one Zoid that moves that fast, and that's Tsukamoto's flying monkey.

 When I turn towards Tobizaru, he's just reaching up to catch the weapon that's returning from the enemy. The weapon in his hand is a giant cross shuriken.

"Beware."

 The flying monkey rushes in.

"The enemy is a Zoid with special skills."

"That means the Zoid is the same as you, Tsukamoto...?"

"It's a Shinobi... The Shinobi Saix."

 The flying monkey throws a shuriken. At the same time, I make Souga jump. Maybe it's impossible to counter both. The enemy springs up and jumps into the forest. It jumps from branch to branch. It's so light.

"I won't let you go!"

 I follow and leap into the forest. I lived in the mountains for a long time, so I'm good at climbing trees, and so is Souga. He hooks his claws into the tree and proceeds just as if he were running on the ground.

 Suddenly, the enemy turns around. He jumps towards Souga. I also make Souga jump.

"Slash!"

 I swing the sword in passing.

Clang!

 The next moment, the enemy twists his head around and turns towards me.

Woosh!

 Something flies at us. I'm able to notice it instinctively, but I can't make it in time. I see it hit towards Souga's back leg.

"Be careful! The cat's mask is a blowgun. They must be poison!"

 I'm thankful for the advice from Tsukamoto. Maybe I'd be even more thankful if he'd told me before it was done.

 I jump onto the branch with a thud... Or I intended to, but I can't get the claws from the back leg to sink in. Maybe it's the effects of the poison. Souga's body falls towards the ground. The enemy jumps in.

Clang!

 I match the sword in the air. The Flying Monkey jumps in from the side.

Clang! Clang!

 I'm slashing repeatedly at the air. The equipment on the back of the flying monkey moves violently, balancing its body. It's probably a new weapon, because I've never seen it before. Thanks to that, I'm able to afford some time. I turn and land on the front legs. The poison in the hind legs seems fine, it's just a scratch, and it feels a little numb. The flying monkey and the enemy land. When I try to jump in with my own sword, there's a buzzing noise and my eyes see nothing but black.

"What's this?"

 I try slashing, but there's no response. When I jump backwards to reexamine the situation, there's black shadows and that strange rustling sound, then it scatters. It's those Guystings. I wonder where the attack came from; it was almost as if it came straight down... I look up, and there's countless Guystings on the branches of the tree.

"We have to manage the Baratz."

"On top of that, don't lose sight of the enemy."

"Huh?"

 When I notice, the enemy is already close at hand.

"Watch out!"

 We hurriedly grip the sword and meet their strike.

Clang!

 They slash with a returning sword.

Clang!

 The flying monkey falls from above and swings down with his ninja sword.

Clang!

 There's a buzzing sound and my field of view goes black again. I let Souga jump to leave the area. I see Tobizaru and Saix jumping in the same direction.

Bam.

 There's a loud popping sound and light bursts in the air. Someone fired a signal flare.

"Freeze!"

 A communication is started. It's Jin's voice.

"We have three Zoids here, and they're all pointing their firearms at you. No matter how fast you move, you can't escape from this bombardment."

 When I turn around, there they are. Jin's Rez Wolf, Ken's Hound Soldier, and Räte's Heavy Rhimos.

{{ Foolish beings. }}

 I also hear a voice in my head.

{{ Even if you defeat me, the temple door will not open, and you cannot return alive. }}

"I'm not going to shoot you. Tsukamoto, Midori, put down your swords. This Zoid is not our enemy."

 What's going on? I have no idea, but I sheath my sword for the time being.

"Is this okay?"

 Jin asks. Seki is the one that answers.

"Yes. It's all according to tradition."

- Chapter 6: Part 3

 The three Zoids slowly move forward, starting with the Hebby Rhimos.

 A communication comes in from Ken.

"Are you injured?"

"Yeah, but it's okay. But how did you know we were here?"

"Tsukamoto left me a message at the meeting place, and left markers on the way here. We followed them."

 I see. I wish I had done that. Another lesson learned.

"Oh, but how did you find us, Tsukamoto?"

"When I reached the meeting place, I saw you and Souga running. Then I followed after Souga."

 I finally understand. It was Tsukamoto's Tobizaru that made me feel like someone was behind me the whole way here.

"If that's the case, I wish you would've shown up somewhere, or at least communicated with us."

"Heh."

 I hear Tsukamoto laugh.

"It's the nature of a Shinobi to hide yourself."

 Somehow, I feel like he's just messing with me.

- Chapter 6: Part 4

 Hebby Rhimos steps in front of the Saix. The canopy opens and Seki stands up.

"I'm here. From beyond time eternal."

 Somehow, I feel like it's a different person from Seki speaking. I mean... like a god. I don't know why I feel that way.

"I'm here. I'm going to fulfill my mission."

{{ What is your mission? }}

"I am the one who releases. My mission is to release the sealed sword."

 The Saix canopy opens. What's inside is a mummy, with almost white bones... I think. At least, it doesn't look like a living person. Its mouth suddenly opens.

{{ What is your name? }}

"My name is Seki. The descendant of those who have done great deeds."

{{ If so, then you must be tested, and bare witness. }}

"I knew that from the very beginning."

 The mummy stands up.

{{ If you lie about your identity, then know that your life is forfeit. }}

"I know that too."

{{ Then, it is time. }}

 The mummy burns up... or, it looks like it does. In reality, the mummy's body is wrapped in a pale light. The light spreads, while increasing in brightness, and wraps around Seki's body. At the same time, it becomes so bright that I can't even open my eyes.

 Once the dazzling light subsides and I open my eyes again, both Seki and the mummy are standing there in their original state.

{{ You have been acknowledged as genuine. }}

"That's..."

{{ However... }}

 The mummy takes over the conversation.

{{ You cannot fulfill your mission alone. Who drives the Shining Beast? }}

"That's..."

{{ That is? }}

 Seki turns around, and looks around her a bit. Her eyes are the usual gentle eyes of Seki.

"I'm sorry. I thought I could do this without getting you involved."

 What does she mean, getting me involved? When we became companions, I always intended to do just that...

 I open the canopy and ask Seki.

"What should I do?"

"Come here. Next to me."

 Souga and I advance with the canopy open. Looking around, Jin, Ken, and Tsukamoto open their canopies while staring at us.

 Seki turns to the mummy.

"Her name is Midori. A person who has made incredible achievements, and she's the descendant of the person who drove the Shining Beast."

{{ If so, then you must be tested, and bare witness. }}

 What's going on? I have no idea at all.

{{ If you lie about your identity, then know that your life is forfeit. }}

 But, I have to believe in Seki now... I think.

 Looking into the sunken eye sockets of the mummy, I answer clearly.

"Yes."

 A pale light is emitted before me and engulfs my body. But for some reason it's not dazzling, nor hot. In fact, it feels strangely warm.

 Eventually, the light goes out.

 The mummy's voice echoes.

{{You are acknowledged as genuine. }}

 Seki answers.

"Then you'll open the door."

{{ There is no need for that. }}

 The Saix follows the road, and moves out of the way.

{{ Go straight. The door is an illusion. }}

 Seki turns to me, looks around at everyone, then goes ahead.

"I'm going to the temple."

 Jin nods and gives the command.

"Move forward!"

 Hebby Rhimos slowly moves forward. I have Souga right next to it. Immediately after, Rez Wolf, Hound Soldier, and Tobizaru follow.

 The moment Hebby Rhimos and Souga touch the door, the doors are shattered, and seven colors of light swirl around us.

Boooom. B-B-B-Boom.

 I can hear the sound of explosives detonating.

Clang! Clang!

 And I hear the sound of a sword. A screaming voice rises up. The ground is constantly shaking.

"Don't flinch! Advance! Advance!"

"Report. The commanding officer of the vanguard has died in battle. If things continue like this, it'll be a totally defeat..."

"4th Division, advance. 5th Division, mobilize."

 Communications are flying all around us. Zoids are running. Souga starts to run together with them, too. Even so...

(Where is this place? What's happening?)

 I look around. The scenery is familiar. This is the Tatara Highlands. I've only seen it from the base, so I don't know our exact position, but me and Souga seem to be somewhere there.

Shyaaaaaa!

 I hear a familiar voice. This voice is definitely...

 When I turn around, a group of Bio Tricera are charging. With the sturdy crests as a shield, they line up side by side, not leaving any gaps so that they can thrust their horns from all angles. With that momentum, the ally Zoids are thrown back one after another.

"I have to go help!"

 I rush Souga forward.

 Anyway, what's going on here? Certainly, we came to the foot of the Tatara Highlands, then stepped into the sea of trees, and went into the temple...

Rooaaarr!

 The Zoid, whose body is impaled by the horns of the Bio Tricera, utters a heartbreaking cry.

"Go, Souga!"

"Wait, Midori."

 I hear Jin's voice. But I can't wait.

 Souga makes a jump across the remaining distance. I hold my sword in the air.

"My song is the sound of slashing, and my dance is the glimmer of a white blade."

 The thoughts of the sword become words, and rise in my heart.

"The path we walk is a wicked one, and we'll kill all those who obstruct it."

"Slash!"

 I swing down the sword just as we're landing. The sword that Masakuni made splendidly cuts the enemy apart... or so I thought, but the enemy continues to run forward as if nothing happened, passing through Souga's body.

"Huh? What? Why?"

"Don't panic, Midori."

 I also hear Jin's voice. When I turn around, there he is. Behind Rez Wolf's slow-moving cockpit, he opens the canopy and looks at me.

"None of this is really happening."

 Countless shells are shot into the herd of Bio Tricera. The ally Zoids are rushing in. While passing through the body of Souga and the Hebby Rhimos.

"Is this an illusion?"

"That's right. Perhaps it's a record of when the Bio Zoids first appeared, and were sealed."

{{ Yes. }}

 I hear a voice in my head. It's the voice of the Shinobi Saix's rider, that mummified skeleton.

{{ This is my dream. My memories of the battle from the distant past. }}

"Amazing."

 I hear Ken comment.

"This is the battle of legend... Right? I can't believe we're seeing it with our own eyes!"

{{ Legend. }}

 Shinobi Saix walks in front of us, while I wonder when he arrived.

{{ Maybe that is so. Human lives are short. After 100 years, all parties involved will have gone to the netherworld. Their memories are lost, records and rumors mix, and after a thousand years, past events become mysterious legends. For you, this would be a legendary battle... }}

"Then what was it to you...?"

"This was the reality that I saw with my own eyes..."

 A shell explodes and the ground shakes. Even if I know it's an illusion, I feel nervous every time. A group of Cannon Fort fire their long-range guns as they move through our bodies and avance.

{{ To what extent do you know? }}

"Well, there are a lot of various iterations of the legends, and there are some parts where you don't know which one is right..."

 Ken starts talking with a distant look to his eyes as he tries to remember.

"A long time ago, mysterious Zoids suddenly appeared and filled the lands. Causing destruction and devastation, they covered the world. People called them Bio Zoids, and feared them, but if all of the countries joined hands and stood up against them, even the Bio Zoids would not be able to withstand their might, and they would be gradually hunted to extinction. If you see the fallen ones, and move past them, you'll see the Bio Zoid well. The last battle has yet to come."

{{ Heh. }}

 The mummy laughs a bit... it sounds like.

{{ It seems like it has been beautified a bit. }}

"This is the battle, right?"

{{Yes. This is the battle. }}

"Where's the hero? I heard that a brave man showed up, led the people into battle, fought, and sealed the Bio Zoids..."

{{ If you want to see the hero... look behind you. }}

"Clear the way!"

 Suddenly a communication starts. Not in the real world, but in the phantom world.

"Clear the way! Shining Beast, Sparkling Beast, Mobilize!"

 When I turn around, two Zoids are rushing this way. The one that's coming towards us...

"Souga?"

 I think so, for a moment. However, as I look closely, I see that it's different.

"That's the Shining Beast."

 Seki tells me. Does that mean that what's following it is the Sparkling Beast?

 It's a Zoid that I've never seen before, spreading its large wings and flying through the air. But it doesn't look like it has any weapons. Maybe it's not a combat Zoid.

Rooaaaarrrr.

 The Shining Beast roars as it passes through our bodies. Souga roars as if it's a close comrade.

Roaaaaaaarrrr.

 The two Zoids phase through us. The seven colors of light wrap around us.

{{ Thus, the Bio Zoids were sealed, and peace was restored to the earth. People regained their normal lives, and their memories of the battle began to fade. But there was something that they should never forget. }}

"The sealing was done by the power of Zoids, right?"

{{ Yes. Zoids have a long life. It seems to us that their lives are eternal. But one day, the day will come. }}

"The day will come when the life of the Zoid that sealed them will run out, and Bio Zoids will reappear. That time is now, isn't it?"

{{ Don't repeat the tragedies of the old days. Seal the Bio Zoids before they can spread across the earth. That is your mission. }}

 The Shining Beast, and the Sparkling Beast, those two Zoids rush into the light, and suddenly I can't see anything.

- Chapter 6: Part 5

"Where are we?"

 When my sight returns, there's a path straight ahead of us into the sea of trees.

"Apparently..."

 Jin answers in a calm tone.

"It looks like we're behind the temple."

{{ Go down this road. }}

 When I turn around, the Shinobi Saix is there.

{{ This is the path leading to the Bio Zoid pit. }}

"Please tell me."

 Seki says.

"Where can I meet the Sparkling Beast? Where can I find the sealed sword?"

{{ I do not know. But... }}

 The mummy turns its hollow eye sockets towards the mountainous Tatara Highlands.

{{ The core of the destroyed Zoid was released, and a new Zoid was born. There must be a newly born Sparkling Beast somewhere in these mountains. }}

"There are two legends. The legend where the hero was alone, and one where there were two of them. Which one is correct?"

{{ Both could be said to be right, or to be wrong. In other words, it was two who came to the battle, and one who returned. }}

"Right..."

{{ Be careful. The fate of the world depends on you. }}

- Chapter 6: Part 6

 That night, we camped near the exit of the sea of trees. There was a chance that the Tatara Highlands were riddled with Bio Zoids, and we wouldn't be able to get any good rest, so it was Jin's recommendation that we rest up before that. I can hear the rustling sounds from our surroundings, but now it feels somewhat reliable. That's because the Shinobi Saix and the Guystings that it controls are watching over us.

"By the way..."

 After the meal is over, Jin turns towards me and talks.

"Is there anything you wanted to ask?"

 Yes, of course there is. There's a lot of things that I still don't understand.

"Oh... that... umm..."

 I'm impatient. I have a lot of questions to ask, but when I try to ask them, I have no idea what to actually ask.

 Jin looks at Seki.

"If it's hard for her to talk, can I talk to you?"

"No."

 Seki shakes her head and looks at me in a serious manner.

"I have to talk to you."

"Maybe..."

 Räte turns her mischievous eyes towards Seki.

"It'd be better if we left our seats?"

"No. I want everyone to ask their questions. It's something that relates to our mission."

 After looking at the whole group, Seki starts talking.

"Everyone knows about the Shining Beast and the Sparkling Beast, and the sealing of the Bio Zoids with the power of two Zoids, but it wasn't a Zoid that just anyone could ride. As everyone knows, Zoids and riders are compatible with each other, and they cannot operate unless they are compatible. Only two people were able to ride the two Zoids. Those who later came to be called the Heroes. It was after a successful seal, that the hero's bloodline was preserved in preparation for the day when the Bio Zoid seal would be broken. And every time the sealed Zoid's life was exhausted and replaced, the descendants of the hero drove to the newly created sealed Zoid to reseal it. This has been done many, many times. For thousands of years. However, the bloodline of the hero, which was kept so carefully, fell in danger of ending. 16 years ago, a huge earthquake struck the city, and killed many people. Among them were some of the hero's bloodline. Only two young sisters survived. At the time, I was 3 years old, and my sister had just been born."

 My heart skips a beat. 16 years ago, that was the year I was born.

"The people who were involved decided to take two courses of action in order to preserve the bloodline of the hero. One was to raise them separately so that they wouldn't both die in the event of another disaster. The other, was that one of them shouldn't be allowed to go on any adventures, to ensure that their offspring would be left behind. I was raised in the city as a descendant of a hero, with the mission to seal the Bio Zoid. My sister was sent to live in the countryside. She was entrusted to a former general who was involved, and raised without any knowledge of this."

"That means..."

 Seki nods.

"Yes. I'm your sister. And you're my sister."

 I didn't know. I didn't even know that I had a sister. The inside of my head is just blank.

"Then, what about Souga?"

 Räte opens her mouth, but Jin answers on her behalf.

"The descendant of the Shining Beast... Or rather, the Shining Beast of this generation, that was born in its place."

"Ahh... It was such a great Zoid. Oh, but if that's the case, isn't it a bad thing that Midori came along?"

"That's why I opposed it, but she came along anyway."

"But you know..."

 Seki says.

"As we were traveling together, I knew it was a good thing. Maybe it was fate for me and Midori, and today it became clear that we made the right choice. We knew that we needed two heroes to seal the Bio Zoid."

"That's why..."

 Jin looks straight into my eyes.

"You're going to be tasked with a dangerous mission. Of course, I can't force you. Though everything depends on you..."

"I'll do it!"

 I quickly interrupt Jin's words.

 Jin gives a relieved look in response.

"Sorry. Actually, maybe this wasn't the best way to get you involved."

"No."

 My mind is still blank, but one thing is clear.

"I think it was good. I think it's my mission."

 There's still one more thing. I've always thought that I didn't have any relatives, but that wasn't the case.

"And I'm very happy. I know now that I have an older sister."

 Seki smiles.

"Let's bunk together tonight. There's a lot we have to talk about."

 When I say yes, tears roll down my face. What's wrong with me?

Ahem.

 Jin clears his throat with a cough.

"Well, I don't mind that, but don't stay up talking too late. We leave at dawn tomorrow."

 Jin turns towards the end of the road, and adds:

"Tomorrow's going to be tough."

- Chapter 6: Part 7

 It was really tough.

 As I stepped onto the Tatara Highlands, I encountered a horde of Bio Zoids. They were everywhere. My Souga and Ken's Hound Soldier defeated the Bio Zoids at the front. Seki and Räte's Hebby Rhimos provided support fire behind us. Jin's Rez Wolf was acting as the rearguard. According to Ken, that's usually the strongest unit. That is, the rearguard was the most difficult role. It doesn't look easy.

 The path carved by the Shinobi Saix stretched towards the summit of one of the mountains in the Tatara Highlands. As you go along, the road gets steeper. Bio Zoids were appearing more and more.

"Go!"

 Souga jumps forward and slashes at the enemy.

"Slash!"

 We swing the sword through the air. It stretches out its arms to fight back, but it's too slow.

SHHRRRIIIEEEEK!!

 The Bio Zoid collapses with a horrifying screech.

 When I land on a rock and look, the view ahead is opening up.

"I see it, I see the top!"

 When I shout, Ken asks.

"How many enemies are there along the way?"

"Umm..."

 I try to count.

"I think about ten."

"No, there are nine."

Skrreeeee!

 Another death shriek rises.

"I've taken one down just now."

"We'll take them out all at once."

"Careful not to fall into the crater. From the topography, this looks like a volcano, so the summit should be a crater."

 I've heard stories about the craters of volcanoes, but this is the first time I've ever been able to actually see one. I'm itching to take a quick look.

"Let's go, let's go!"

 I run up the rest of the way while cutting down my enemies. When I reach the point where I can stand upon the ledge above the fire and look down into it, the ground shakes with a horrible screaming sound. Souga loses his balance and almost falls.

"Woah! What is that? An earthquake? There's no way this is an eruption, right?"

 The shaking stops all of a sudden, but then the ground shakes once more with a rumbling noise.

"Be careful, Midori. I think those are footsteps."

 No way, but just as I think that, something appears from the fire.

"Huh? What... is that? It can't be..."

- Biospino

 The third reader contribution Zoid is the Biospino. It's a pity that we've never seen the idea of controlling the zombie raptors. By making the characteristic dorsal fin more bone-like, I tried to strengthen its image as a Bio Zoid. This is one of my favorite rain pictures. Bio Zoids are a series of designs that I personally enjoy, because I like the creature spin on them.

- Mother Bio (Sealed State)

 The image of the Mother Bio in its sealed state is a relief. I can't talk about it in detail in this chapter, so I'm just going to provide this painting. When considering the characteristics of Bio Zoids in the Generations world, which are different from the normal Zoids, I decided to make them different from the very core. Therefore, at this stage, the idea of Mother Bio's final form was finalized. Correll also helped out, with various drawings. Thank you so much for this opportunity.
