A giant combat command mecha tasked with commanding the Republican forces. Because its body is so large and heavy, it's more suited for action in the water rather than on land. It excels at surface and landing battles. It boasts of its invincibility thanks to the weapons installed all over its body, including cannons, torpedoes, beam cannons, and missiles. With the birth of the Ultrasaurus, the Republican Army has gained a new powerful naval fleet, and has taken a giant step towards defeating the Imperial Army.
❶ Separate Cockpit Despite being a cockpit, it can become an independently-acting small vehicle, performing battlefield reconnaissance and long-distance maneuvers. |
❷ Radar Room Located inside the neck, this room is used to detect enemies in all directions using the omnidirectional radar. It can also emit jamming signals. |
❸ Vehicle Hangar This hangar can hold two small flying vehicles. The vehicles are used for reconnaissance and small attacks. |
❹ Ultra Cannon A large 36cm high-speed cannon, and the main weapon of the Ultrasaurus. It attacks distant enemy bases with great destructive power. |
❺ Gunner The Ultra Cannons are operated by dedicated gunners. These are located on each side, so two people are required. |
❻ Catapult (Flight Deck) The deck that the flying vehicles take off and land from. There's a control radar, which is used to give instructions and communicate about the takeoffs and landings. |
❼ Waist The base of the Zoid Core is equipped with an amplifier that strengthens its energy, and above that is a living quarters for the crew. |
❽ Tail The tail not only balances the long body, but also absorbs the shock of artillery fire. It can also act as a rudder in the water. |
❾ Legs The leg reinforcement cylinders allow it to travel on the ground. There's ground sensors in the soles of the feet. |
❿ Landing Vehicle Hangar The chest hangar, which also holds landing vehicles. The hatch drops down and becomes a slope for entering and exiting the hangar. |
⓫ Tip of the Tail The tip of the tail is equipped with two anti-aircraft beam cannons. There's also a gunner seated here, who attacks enemies approaching from the rear. |
⓬ Small Flying Vehicle It's equipped with two reconnaissance vehicles. Powered by an ion craft engine, it has a range of 450 km and a maximum speed of 300 km/h. |
The Imperial Army's trump card for land battles. Boasting high-performance mobility, it can maintain a high speed of 200 km/h even during the heat of battle. It's also good at sneaking up and launching surprise attacks without making a sound, making it a main force in night attacks. The weapons equipped on various parts of its body, including the Laser Sabres, are compact yet quite powerful.
❶ Laser Sabres (Fangs) and Sensors The sensor on its nose instantly detect enemy weak points, which it then plunges the sabres into. The fangs are laser sabres, with laser energy that can burn through any thick armor. |
❷ Engine and Power Pipes (for the jaws and front legs) Large cylinders used to strengthen the jaws as well as the engines used for driving the front legs. These parts are also connected to power pipes to pump in large amounts of energy. |
❸ 2-Barrelled Beam Gun Equipped with a large 2-barrelled beam gun on its back. It can run at high speeds and still accurately target the enemy. On top of the beam gun is a missile launcher that can fire three shots at once. |
❹ Energy Amplifier A device that makes the energy of the Zoid Core even more powerful in combat. The Sabretiger uses this special amplifier so that it can maintain a high speed of 200 km/h. |
❺ Tail The tail helps balance the body when running and jumping. A small beam gun is attached to the tip of the tail for close-range combat. |
❻ Engine (for the rear legs) The engines are reinforced to generate explosive power, enabling it to attack enemies at a terrifyingly high speed when they're moving in conjunction with the front legs. |
❼ Ground Sensor and Shock Absorber The legs are equipped with a ground sensor that instantly senses the condition of the ground it's running on, and an absorber that absorbs the shock when it lands, firmly stabilizing the body. |
❽ Triple Shock Cannon A weapon used in close-range combat, it fires powerful shock waves at attacking enemies. Small Zoids are blown away in a single hit. There's a High-Pressure Concentrated Sulfuric Acid Spray Gun equipped beneath it. |
❾ Leg Engine Radiator When traveling at high speeds, the engine heats up to extreme temperatures. For this reason, it's equipped with a powerful radiator for cooling to prevent fires and other such accidents. |
A large bipedal Zoid boasting the greatest destructive power in the Republic. With its powerful arms and tail as its weapons, it has repeatedly defeated the Empire while serving as the main force in melee combat, and continued its invincible advance until the Ironkong and Sabretiger were created. In addition to simply crushing enemies with its power, it can also respond to attacks from the air such as from Sinkers by using its beam cannons and rapid-fire cannons.

The strongest mech on the Empire side, with weapons superior to the Zoid Gojulas and powerful destructive power even in close-range combat. It dealt a major blow to the Republic as the driving force behind the Imperial Army's counterattack.

❺ Long-Range Missiles The Kong's largest weapon, with a range of 200 km thanks to the guidance system. This greatly expands the battlefield for independent action. |
❻ 10-Shot Missiles This pod can fire 10 missiles at once, allowing it to destroy enemies in close-range combat. |
❼ Missile Launcher A large 6-Shot Missile Launcher. It has a range of 50 kilometers, and can be held in the hand and used like a gun. |
❽ Armor Parts Attached to the shoulder, chest, legs, etc. for self-protection. A very light special alloy is used for these parts, allowing for agile movement during battle. |
The only large-scale Zoid used against Gojulas in the early stages of the battle. It's characterized by its thick armor and numerous artillery weapons, becoming known as the "Moving Fortress." It's often deployed in assault units and also used by night special forces.

❸ Medium-Caliber Accelerated Beam Cannon An anti-aircraft beam cannon used when fighting flying mechas such as Pegasuros in close-range combat. It can attack in all directions by adjusting its angle. |
❹ Large-Caliber 3-Barrelled Electromagnetic Assault Cannon A special magnetic field generator fires electromagnetic shock waves to destroy its enemies. A self-guiding missile launcher is also attached to the top of the electromagnetic assault cannon. |
❺ Reconnaissance Capsule A small one-seater reconnaissance aircraft. It flies away from the main unit and accurately assesses the enemy's position, relaying that information back. |
❻ Abdomen and Legs There's an energy tank under the Zoid Core in the chest, and energy amplifier pipes on the inside. In the legs, you can see the power plant that allows it to reach a speed of 130 km/h despite its heavy armaments. |
❼ Tail At the base is a rear surveillance radar that identifies enemies behind it, and below that is an auxiliary engine that moves the tail. |
❽ Tip of the Tail It has a high-speed gun and a large infrared laser search light, which is effective in night combat. |
A large walking Zoid, with plates along its back that've been modified into antennas. Its main role is to use its radar to gather large amounts of data on the enemy, quickly confirming the location of scattered targets and playing an essential role in modern warfare. It has powerful cannons on its back, allowing it to also attack from long distances.
❶ All-Weather 3D Radar The plates on the back are all antennas that can be used in all weather conditions. They serve many purposes, including communication between allies, detecting enemies, and transmitting powerful jamming signals. |
❷ Panova 20mm Anti-Air Beam Cannon An Anti-Air Beam Cannon used for shooting down small reconnaissance aircrafts. It doesn't have much power, so it's not effective against Sinkers. |
❸Tail Tip The tail has a magnetic detector used to detect enemies underground. It's also equipped with a 30mm Beam Gun and a Maxer 50mm Gun. |
A pterosaur Zoid that flies at Mach 2. It's feared for its mobility, which allows it to cross the central mountain range of the Zoid continent in a single run, advancing deep into the Empire with its exceptional flight range. This gave the Republican Army a sudden advantage, but since it required special modifications to the wings, it couldn't be mass-produced and couldn't be used in actual combat. If it were possible to mass-produce the Salamander, the situation would've instantly swung in the Republic's favor.
