 Liger Zero Phantom appeared in Smack Zoids! B-Part, in the February issue of Dengeki Hobby Magazine, 2002. It was one of many, many concept designs relating to the Liger Zero X.

- History

 When this ghostly beast started appearing on the battlefield, a Zoid they had never seen before, it struck fear into the Republican Army. Nevermind its unusual appearance; the Phantom made improvements to its stealth capabilities with every sortie. It was the progress of the Empire's Liger Zero, created from a wild body that they retrieved from the same Nixie base that the Republican Army got theirs from. It was an early conceptual CAS that came before the Liger Zero X.

 It took design notes from the Republican Army's Changing Armor Systems, and adapted its own design to be more functional. While the Phantom paved the road for an amazing stealth fighter, development eventually ceased. The Empire was changing its focus to the Liger Zero X, so a final design for the Phantom was never completed.
