- Military History

ZAC 2099 ~ 2100, October, Rollout

The Elephander started out its life as a high-power unit with grand plans in mind, during the end of the Western Continent War at a point in which Guylos had a clear advantage. However, by the time it was able to be pushed out on the battle field the war situation had drastically changed. The Republic had called in their most powerful forces, the Destroyer Corps, and were already nearing Nixie Base. It was the most important Imperial base on Europa and there were still tens of thousands of Imperial Zoids stationed there, awaiting the Destroyer Corps that had already torn through their defensive line.

The Empire finally gave the order to withdraw all troops back to their homeland. However, they needed time to load them onto the fleets. Nixie wasn't just an above-ground base. Zoids had fled in all directions, including to the underground hangers. They needed to select pilots to stand against the Republic in a battle of impossible odds. For this they selected former pilots of the Zenebas Empire. Ever since Guylos had absorbed Zenebas' army 50 years ago, Zenebas soldiers had played the role of sacrificial pawns. However, on this occasion, the soldiers were honored. Honored to sacrifice for the sake of saving their future ruler, Wolff Muroa, a descendant of the former Emperor Zenebas who would once more give rise to the Zenebas Empire from within the shadows of Guylos.

With the help of their thick armor and E-Shields, the Elephanders protected Nixie Base against a force 10 times their size, a battle that lasted hours before Nixie finally fell into the hands of the Helic Republic. The Elephanders finally fell when they came under heavy fire by reinforcements in the form of Dibisons, Cannon Tortoise, and others. By the time they'd fallen, they'd taken out three times as many Republican Zoids. This grand display of force allowed their allies to escape, and the aerial pursuit force that the Republic sent after their fleet was stopped by other former Zenebas soldiers, fighting another fatal battle in Redlers.

- Equipment Information

- Multi-Blade Antenna

Multi-Blade Antenna:

The Multi-Blade Antenna refers to the prongs on top of the Elephander's head. The full functionality of this weapon is not clarified, but it certainly adds to the Commander's fierce appearance.

- Strengthened E-Shield Generator x2

Strengthened E-Shield Generator x6:

The Elephander CT swaps out its original E-Shield Generators for Strengthened E-Shield Generators. When inactive this adds a spike to the top of the ears, which folds back, allowing the silver generators to deploy.

- Strengthened Twin Crusher Tusk x2

Strengthened Twin Crusher Tusk x2:

The Twin Crusher Tusks are swapped out as well, now replaced by long, curved tusks that extend far beyond the originals. This more forward-facing design could theoretically improve its goring abilities by allowing it to target lower-set enemies.

 * This list only contains new equipment. For base equipment, see Elephander.
