Notable Facts

  • Stinger is a feared mercenary, known by the nickname of "The Fisherman" because luring in his prey and watching them suffer comes as easily to him as shooting fish in a barrel.

  • Stinger orders milk at bars instead of alcohol.

Items

 Gas Mask

Stinger uses a paralyzing toxin when targeting humans and Zoids alike, as most cockpits aren't air tight. This can also be mixed into food, and doesn't prevent the victim from talking. It wears off in about an hour, and Stinger himself carries a gas mask to avoid its effects.

 Claw Blades

Stinger's gloves have retractable blades, which extend about a foot. He regularly uses these to threaten others.

History

Hunt For The Organoid, Episode 24 ~ 25

Stinger introduced himself to Metternich's group, only to be ever-so-rudely shot at. He answered this with poisonous gas that immobilized the Dark Horn pilots, then introduced himself properly. He offered to take care of their Rudolph problem for 70% of the cut. With little choice, they agreed, so Stinger handed his red Guysack over to Deris. He was to take it and deal with Bang.

The second part of Stinger's plan was to pretend to flee from the two Dark Horns through the desert. He was 'rescued' by Moonbay. While they sat around the campfire eating dinner, Irvine was sure to confirm that he didn't believe Stinger's story. They soon realized that the food had been poisoned, too. With the group was paralyzed, Stinger strung them up in the sun and left them to roast. He recognized that the vortex around the fallen Shield Liger must be caused by the Organoid. He'd been studying the group, and wanted them to appeal to Sieg's sense of friendship to draw him out of the light. He unfortunately neglected to realize that Sieg didn't listen to Moonbay or Irvine.

In an unexpected turn of events, Bang stole the Guysack SS from Deris. He returned to camp, attached Metternich's Dark Horn, and got flipped by it. Stinger, fed up with the nonsense already, revealed that he had a second Zoid: A Saber Tiger hidden under the sand. He bombarded the Guysack, destroying it, then handled the Command Wolf that Rudolph had stolen to try to fight back. With Bang now charging him on a hover board with nothing but a machine gun, he fired on him, the shock of the blasts throwing him into the vortex.

Stinger hadn't anticipated an entirely new Zoid emerging from the light. His attacks did nothing to the Blade Liger, and its subsequent blade attack cut his Saber Tiger in two.

The Crossbow Brothers, Episode 26

Freshly defeated, Stinger stumbled his way into a bar and lamented to the bartender about his defeat to an Organoid, blaming Sieg for the loss. He was approached by the Crossbow brothers, two he seemed to know well enough, but was surprised to see them in the area as they didn't typically hang out in imperial territory. They offered him a bag of gold stolen from the Empire if he told them about the Organoid, which he was happy to do.

Kidnapping the Emperor, Episode 43

The next time Stinger ran into Albert and Ross he convinced them that he had a solid lead on an opportunity. He knew the flight path of Emperor Rudolph's Redler unit, and where they'd land. At the destination they discovered that Bang and Thoma would also be there, and after their earlier defeat, Albert and Ross were understandably reluctant to follow through on the plan. Stinger insisted that they trust him, even though none of them got along particularly well.

He himself merely sat back while his two accomplices did most of the work, rigging the Redler escorts to explode and kidnapping the emperor. Once they handed Rudolph over to him Stinger tied him to a pole and placed it in the sand by a cliff. He backed his Saber Tiger up against the cliff side and opened up its blades right behind the Emperor. If Bang tried to use his Blade Attack now, he'd go careening right into the face of the cliff. With a hostage, he could also demand that Bang and Thoma not fight back. Once they arrived, all they could do was dodge around the attacking Hel Digunners while Stinger laughed from the sidelines.

With little other choice, Bang dared to test Stinger's plan. He charged the Saber Tiger and sliced right through both the Zoid and the pole with the Laser Blades. His Liger bounced off the face of the cliff and caught the pole before Rudolph hit the ground, while Thoma proceeded to take down the two Hel Digunners. Judging by a later episode, all three of them were apprehended for their crimes.

Prison Escape, Episode 63

When the Death Stinger attacked the prison where Stinger was held they decided to open the cells and let the inmates escape if they could. Stinger's cell, however, was jammed. He begged for help and finally received it from Dorset and Heinz, who were imprisoned at the same facility. For a brief moment he considered being a better person, but quickly snapped into his old hateful ways when he collided with the Crossbow Brothers. They bickered for a moment, then decided to set their differences aside to run. Once outside they saw the Death Stinger. Stinger decided to take up arms against it, insisting that he had no intention of letting the world be destroyed when he'd just gotten back out of prison. The Crossbow brothers joined him, and the three of them stole Zoids from the prison that mirrored their former ones: standard Hel Digunners and a Saber Tiger AT. Stinger unloaded everything his Zoid had but seconds later the entire facility was destroyed by the particle cannon. It's presumed that Stinger and the Crossbow brothers died from the resulting blast.
