Launcher:
This cannon is located in the nose, below the 720mm electron cannon. It launches a massive ball that moves of its own volition and crashes head long into enemy Zoids. A hit will take out any large unit on the battlefield, and even if it comes to a complete stop it can begin rolling again. The first image above shows the size of this ball compared to a large scale Zoid (Liger Zero.) |

Anti-Gravity System:
This powerful surge creates a field of anti-gravity, which not only nullifies gravity in the surrounding area but attempts to pull Zoids from the surface. Once deactivated the Zoids are dropped back to the ground and destroyed. Artificial Storm System: Storm: Thrusters all along the side of the Whale King are used to desperse an immense cloud coverage. These dark gray storm clouds are so thick that they completely cloak the Whale King from sight even in movement. Lightning: This system correlates with ground Zoids and activates from spheres launched into the air. They electrify and begin to discharge lightning bolts with enough voltage to reach the ground. It is Zoids down below, weilding modified Long Range Rifles that command this system. It tells it where to strike, and the intelligent control of the electricity ensures that the command Zoids are not hit. Tornado: A second system which also relies on the air born spheres. The metal objects begin to rotate rapidly around one another and create an artificial tornado. Two are required per twister, and the stabilizers on the side of the command unit's rifle glow brightly to show their activation. Small twisters form with enough strength to topple large scale Zoids and throw small scale Zoids through the air. If necessary the system can be overclocked, creating a massive tornado likely comparable to an F5. This incredible storm rips Zoids apart, including the commandeered Command Unit. Home Theatre System: Ok, so this isn't a combat system, but it still counts! The Great Whale King is equipped with a 200 inch tv screen and full surround sound. Impressive! No wonder Laon spends so much time cruising around in his Zoid. Launcher: Like the Battlejack the Great Whale King has opted for an additional launcher. This is used to send spheres into the atmosphere as part of the storm system. Twin Charged Particle Boosters: These high powered thrusters are located in the back of the booster and are not standard equipment. They allow The Great Whale King to travel up to 980 kilometers an hour, which is 153 faster than the standard Whale King. They also allow the Zoid to travel as high as the stratosphere. Zoid Hangars: In addition to the elaborate systems listed above, the Great Whale King is installed with generic hangars from all Whale Kings. These huge bays in the stomach open up and deploy dozens of flying units. The mouth also acts as an active hangar door able to deploy ground units. |
