- The Unprecedented Competition To Develop New Zoids

- ZAC 2031: The Birth of Imperial Army Zoids

The battle of the Florecio Ocean, which unexpectedly pitted the new Zoids of both armies against one another. Even the amphibious Republican Zoids, the Barigators, were unable to launch a counterattack against the new Sinker's airborne offensive.

The Florecio Ocean stretched south of the Central Continent. The Republic's Furolesios fleet was sailing toward a military port near the border.

On the radar screen of the Republic's new Barigator mecha, which was escorting the fleet, the shadow of an unidentified machine appeared approaching at high speed from the sky.

"That's strange. The Imperial Army shouldn't have flying Zoids..."

As the officer on duty twisted his head to look, the first missile struck one of their Furolesios.

The name of the unidentified flying Zoid was the Sinker. It was a dual-purpose fighter secretely developed by the Imperial Army to be able to operate both underwater and in the air.

This was the year that the battlefield expanded from land battles to air and sea battles as well, and new Zoids were being born one after another. In particular, the Imperial Army had introduced new Zoids over and over again on the battlefields across the country.

Chased by an unknown enemy they'd never seen before, ominous rumors circulated among the soldiers of the Republic.

"One day, a demonic enemy Zoid will emerge that we'll never be able to defeat..."

The map of the battlefield was about to be drastically redrawn.
