Prozen had already made up his mind to move the timetable forward. He was to launch an all-out attack against the Republican Army.
The original plan had been to engage in a war of attrition that would wear down the forces of both countries, and then destroy the two armies with the strengthened Eisen Dragoons. In order to achieve this, they had used a portion of the Eisen Dragoons to attack both sides, balancing the power of the two forces.
"I'm not so optimistic as to think everything will go according to plan."
Prozen smiled at his associates.
There had been no report from Stauffin yet. However, whether or not he succeeded in assassinating Schwarz, it was only a matter of time before his intentions became public knowledge. Before that happened, he'd reduce the forces of both armies as much as possible.
He handed 50 Death Saurers, newly completed treasures that had been intended for the Eisen Dragoons, over to the Defense Forces. At the same time, he mobilized all of the Empire's reserve forces. Even in the Imperial capital of Valhalla, all but a few Imperial Guards, the Prozen Knights (PK) Division, and the Bloody Death Saurer made for Prozen had been mobilized.
"Now all that's left is to be prepared to make up the difference for our inconsistencies."
Once again, Prozen smiled at his followers. His aides, who knew what these "inconsistencies" meant, simply nodded in silence.
The war between the Helic Republic and the Guylos Empire, which had been waged for more than two years, was now coming to an end.
