Story Information
Pilots: Introduction:
  • Kirsche Hartriegel
  • Bang Freiheit
The Rev Raptor was one of the first mass-produced Organoid System Zoids, and although its OS was limited to ensure it could be controlled by the pilots, its combat power was said to be more than three times that of the Iguan. It was even said to be able to overwhelm medium-scale Zoids, not just Zoids in its own weight class.  [1]

- Military History

ZAC 2100, March, Ergyle Beach

After being developed alongside the Geno Saurer, these two units were mobilized together at Ergyle Beach. The Empire's goal was to take control of the ruins in Southern Europa, most notably the Galil Ruins, with hopes of finding the missing pieces of the Organoid System that had produced such powerful Zoids.

After reaching Ergyle Beach, the Rev Raptors worked alongside Ritz Runstedt and his Geno Saurer to overwhelm the Republic's defense forces. A swarm of Rev Raptors was able to overtake the one remaining Gojulas that had survived the Geno Saurer's assault. The battle was over in one hour.

Two weeks later, Rev Raptors hid beneath the ground to ambush Arthur Borgmann and his Blade Liger on their way to the Galil Ruins. However, the Liger detected them just before they could launch their ambush, and after being discovered, they were easily defeated. The remaining Rev Raptors were defeated by the Republic's Gun Snipers.

ZAC 2100, July, Rob Base

Rev Raptors were part of the Guylos Empire's attack on Rob Base, the Helic's main hub on Europa. Though their supply lines were exhausted they intended to destroy the remaining Republican troops on the western continent. However, due to delays in their marine forces reaching the battle and exhausted supply lines that limited their ammunition and resources, their efforts were unsuccessful.

ZAC 2100, September, Confronting The Destroyer Corps

When the Helic Republic mobilized the Destroyer Corps along with a force of 40,000 combat Zoids, the Empire immediately reacted. They dispatched a force of 5,000 Zoids, with 100,000 planned to follow suit as soon as they had organized. However, 100 kilometers from the Destroyer Corps, they stopped to set up and prepare for the enemy. A single shot from the Destroyer Corps' Ultra Cannon, equipped to the one remaining Ultra Saurus, devastated the Imperial troops. Rev Raptors were among those pictured in the destruction.

- Equipment Information

- Counter Scythe x2

Counter Scythe x2: カウンターサイズ×2

Rev Raptor's primary weapon is the Counter Scythe, two curved blades. They extend to the side when in use as the raptor weaves around opponents, and when no longer needed, they're stored over the back.

- Hyper Claw x2

Hyper Claw x2: ハイパークロー×2

The hand claws of the Rev Raptor. Since the Zoid itself has few weapons, especially when it comes to long range weapons, it relies heavily on its close range combat equipment. The result is sharpened claws, which are articulated both at the two large claws, and at the thumb. One could speculate that it could even aid in climbing.

- Ion Charger

Ion Charger: イオンチャージャー

The Ion Charger on the Rev Raptors back is an unusual device that doesn't see much use. It's described as being able to power up the Zoid Core. [2]

- Killer Fangs

Killer Fangs: キラーファング

The Rev Raptor is equipped with a sharp set of teeth, but isn't often depicted using them.

- Strike Haken Claw x2

Strike Haken Claw x2: ストライクハーケンクロー×2

The Rev Raptor's two large hooked claws. Like any self-respecting raptor stereotype, these claws are not only used to hack and slash targets but also for climbing. This is actually where their name comes from. Haken is the Japanese word for piton, the metal spikes that climbers use to drive into cracks or seams during a climb, serving as an anchor. Undoubtedly a nod at the pouncing stereotype of raptors.
