- Military History

ZAC 2100, April ~ May

The Empire lost air superiority as soon as the Republic's Storm Sworder was launched on the battlefield. This posed an incredible threat, and while the Empire scrambled to figure out how to meet this challenge, a large number of the Imperial ace pilots began modifying their Redlers themselves. This lead to an influx of pilot customs, all labeled under the Black Redler moniker. The Empire's official response was to order the development of the Redler BC, a heavier-armed Redler with greater firepower and speed. Even still, their only hope was to lessen the gap.

In April, the Imperial Army dispatched 1,000 Redlers to attack Rob Base, which would become the first mission of the Redler BC. Unfortunately, they were intercepted by 200 of the Republic's Storm Sworders. After only an hour of combat, 325 Redlers had been shot down and 407 had taken damage. In contrast, only 28 Storm Sworders had been shot down, and only 33 damaged.

Even so, this terrible defeat caused the entirety of the Eastern Europa skies to fall under the control of the Republican Army. Although the Empire had the strength to fight, they were too far from their main operations. They had run out of both food and ammo, and no longer had the resources to keep up the battle. By May, the Imperial Army's transport missions, falling under siege by Republican raids, had become so dangerous that soldiers called them the Death March.

ZAC 2101, June

When the Republic set out for its invasion of the Dark Continent, home of the Empire, they were attacked by the Imperial Army. While the Empire lacked in air strength, their soldiers fought viciously. Redler BCs were credited for shooting down Hammer Heads, which had the advantage of air bombing and had, until this point, been an absolute menace to the Empire's aquatic units. When both sides' aerial fighters ran out of fuel and returned to their transporters, the Empire launched droves of Sinkers that forced the Republic to flee to the Triangle Daras.

- Booster Cannon ×2

Booster Cannon ×2  ブースターキャノン×2

The Booster Cannon was the Empire's way of augmenting the Redler's abilities. Not only does this weapons set have the power to shoot down enemy Zoids of the same class in a single shot, illustrated by it bringing down Hammer Heads, but it brings the Redler's speed of Mach 3 up to Mach 3.3 as well. The mount allows the guns to rotate left and right.
