The Octoloud is a unique transporter Zoid that appeared as both concept art and as a Base card in the Zoids Battle Card Game. Not much is known about it otherwise.  [1]

- Concept Art

These two concepts were seen in the April 2002 issue of Dengeki Hobby Magazine, in a section discussing super-large Zoids. It confirmed that it has hatches in the head and legs. (Included text is machine translated.)

- Equipment Information

- Hangar Bays (Head)*

Hangar Bays*

The Octoloud is said to have hangar bays in the sides and back of its head. Though I can't confirm for certain that this top panel is the intended bay for the back, it looks appropriate. The side bays extend outward, and seem to hold medium scale Zoids such as the Hammer Head and Storm Sworder. Zoids stored here seem to be anchored to a wheel with (four?) slots.

- Hangar Bays (Legs)*

Hangar Bays

Eight additional bays are located at the ends of the legs, large enough to hold medium-scale Zoids like the Barigator. The top of the hatch opens upwards.

- Laser Cannons (Head)

Laser Cannons レーザーキャノン

The only weapons listed for the Octoloud are Laser Cannons, a lot of them. These longer barrels are located on the sides of the head, surrounding the side bays. There are eight on each side, for a total of 16.

- Laser Cannons (Legs)

Laser Cannons レーザーキャノン

The legs are composed of four segments, with the innermost segment connecting them to the body. The three outer segments have two short-barrelled laser cannons on each side of the bottom panels, representing the suckers of an octopus. This makes up for a total of 12 on each leg, for a whopping 96 laser cannons across all eight.
