- Notable Details

  • The Iron Kong "MS" is believed to mean "Maneuver Thruster" (based on OFB3). Thruster, in Japanese, begins with the kana 'Su' which may be why it's MS and not MT.
  • During the Western Continent War, roughly 200 Iron Kong MS were deployed in the Assault Combat Force of the Empire.

- Equipment Information

- High Maneuver Booster Pack

High Maneuver Booster Pack ハイマニューバーブースターパック

The Iron Kong MS is equipped with the CP-11 Maneuver Thruster Unit, which starts with this booster pack. It increases mobility and helps to control the Zoid's athletic movements. It's also attached to the Vernier Stabilizers.

- Laser Sensor

Laser Sensor レーザーセンサー

The Laser Sensor is installed to the left shoulder, and refers to the green glass spotlight looking item. This item improves the accuracy of the weapons, though its exact means of doing so are not discussed. Typically, in real life, laser sensors help to gauge the proximity and speed of a target.

- Vernier Stabilizer ×2

Vernier Stabilizer ×2 バーニアスタビライザー×2

These are the two pylons standing on the back. They not only increase the Iron Kong's overall mobility, but also help with its athletic performance. A good example of this is the Zoids anime, where the Iron Kong SS uses the same equipment to climb vertical surfaces by gaining more lift.
