This sand-crawling version of the Hel Digunner has had all of its sea-faring equipment removed, while increasing its adaptability to desert climates. It's most notable for its desert camo paint scheme and the large blades on its tail.

Large Blades:
Although these don't seem to get an official name, nor are they listed in the game stats, the Hel Digunner DT has four blades on its tail. Two large ones, followed by two small ones at the end. Their image from the Fan Books shows that these blades can charge with golden energy.

- Zoids Chaotic Century
The Hel Digunner DT makes an appearance in Zoids Chaotic Century where it's piloted by the Crossbow brothers, Albert and Ross, two brothers who fled Imperial territory. In this iteration, they have a more tightly-knit almost animal-pattern camouflage, as well as two additional blades around the middle of the tail. The DT was seen again in Zoids Guardian Force where it was used by the Zoid Hunters.
