 Yuu is the assistant of Senka, a Zoids doctor who's studying how to bring out the instincts of Zoids to improve their fighting capabilities. He lives in a mountain village in outer Yatotake, known to be quiet and a little cynical. When Zoids run wild, he's the guy who has to chase them down and sedate them so that they can be recaptured.  [1]

Chapter 3, The Runaway Brastle Tiger

When Senka's Brastle Tiger ran wild, Yuu tried to sedate it, but found this impossible with just the Blitz Pepsis. When Midori and Ken showed up to help, Midori led the Brastle Tiger towards Ken, who was finally able to disable it long enough for Yuu to deliver the shot. Had they not been able to capture the Brastle Tiger, Souga would have likely died from his poisoned wound.


Chapter 8, Final Battle

When everyone gathered to take a final stand against the Bio Zoids, Yuu and his Blitz Pepsis flew Senka to the Sparkling Beast, a mysterious flying Zoid that had supposedly lived in the magma of the volcano for years. Senka evaluated the Zoid and, determining that it was healthy, returned with the Blitz Pepsis to her Brastle Tiger.

Blitz Pepsis

 Yuu makes use of a modified Blitz Hornet, known as the Blitz Pepsis, to inject runaway Zoids with sedatives, bringing them back under control so that they can be returned to the lab. In the official artwork, however, it's revealed that the stinger of this Zoid can also be swapped out for alternate weapons, such as a gatling gun.
