- Character Introduction

Stefan Skorzeny, a member of the noted Skorzeny family was a Saber Tiger pilot from the Empire's Special Guard Force in Official Fan Book 2. He fought a solo mission against L.G. Halford's High-Speed Combat Force to obstruct their climb to the summit of Mount Olympus. ^[1]

- Personality

Stefan doesn't receive much personal perspective in the story, but his pilot log shows that he was honored that he'd be regarded as a hero for standing in the way of Halford's unit. He was also quite the skilled pilot.

- Military History

ZAC 2099, September, Piloting the Saber Tiger

During a well-lit night, Stefan confronted L.G. Halford's High-Speed Combat Force. His Saber Tiger instantly destroyed one of the wolves with a single blow, and he proceeded to show a high degree of skill by luring the Command Wolves to shoot each other as his Zoid ran right through the center of their ranks. When Halford ordered his subordinates back, Stefan confronted him head on.

The major flaw of the Shield Liger was that deploying its normally-stowed weaponry during high-speed movement would compromise the machine's balance. This is where the Saber Tiger pulled ahead. However, once he had driven the Liger into a defensive position, he was met by the Energy Shield. Stefan made the fatal mistake of underestimating the Liger's shield, forgetting that their data on it was based on the old war specifications. The Liger seized the throat of his Saber Tiger and put an end to the battle.
