- History

First Appearance, Episode 11

Rosa first appeared when Bang's group got lost in the fog. First mistaking her for a monster, they realized it was only a trick of the fog. She led them back to the Mt. Iselina Colony, and got to know them better. She considered Bang a friend until Viola showed up, looking for revenge over the disbanding of the Desert Arcobaleno Gang. When she pulled a gun on Bang, Rosa didn't understand. Yet, when Bang sensed just how important the image she had of her older sister, who'd left to join the army was to her, he lied and said that he'd been a bandit all along, and that Viola had finally caught up with him. Viola played along with this, firing the gun and warning Bang to leave the Iselina Colony.

Defense of the Mt. Iselina Colony, Episode 63

One day out of the blue a giant Zoid surfaced in the Mt. Iselina Colony. It was Hiltz and his Death Stinger, intent on destroying everything there. Rosa stood up to defend her people even though all she had was a single Pile Bunker Godos. It did no damage to the Death Stinger, and when her sister showed up once more, imploring her to leave she reluctantly agreed. However, there was little room in the Storm Sworder's cockpit for extra passengers. The village elder, in his kindness told Rosa to escape with the two young children of the village and leave him behind. They had no choice, but even still, Rosa begged Viola to turn back and try to rescue him. In the end, the entire village was destroyed by the Death Stinger's particle cannon. Emergency response crews had arrived in time to at least save most of the inhabitants.

- Notable Facts

  • The Desert Arcobaleno (Rainbow) gang's names are all Italian for various colors. Rosa joins this theme, her name meaning Pink.
  • Rosa was implied to be quite intuitive, not just in judging people's hearts, but even in sensing things from afar. When Viola was (allegedly) killed in the battle against the Geno Saurer, even though she'd actually survived, Rosa thought she'd heard her sister's voice during that darkest moment.
