A massive army of sleeper Guysacks detected Moonbay illegally transporting ammunition for the Imperial Army through their territory. They reacted violently, chasing down the Gustav, and when they were chased away by Bang and Irvine, they worked to herd the group towards a ruin where they could be entirely surrounded. When they tried to fight their way out, Moonbay was forced to abandon her cargo. The large containers blocked the pathway for the Guysacks, who accidentally detonated it by firing their weapons, destroying a large number of them. This was most certainly noticed (and unappreciated) by the Republican Army.
Dr. D tricked Bang and Irvine into accompanying him to an unmanned supply base, where they were ambushed by sleeper Guysacks. He used the distraction of their Zoids to speed past the Guysacks in a jeep and steal supplies from the base.
A unit of 30 sleeper Guysacks were located on the route to Kronos Fortress, an area that received sand storms and would've given them excellent cover. However, the entire unit was wiped out by Raven's Saber Tiger.
A group of Zoid hunters were tracking down and stealing sleeper units, along with any other Zoid they could get their hands on. They would be used for experiments on the Zoid core, which resulted in the core's death.
When the Holciard Weapons Plant reactor began melting down the Guardian Force was dispatched to deal with the emergency. They took two routes, one cave route only large enough for a person, and a large tunnel designed for Zoids. 15 sleeper Molgas guarded the Zoid-specific route.
When Bang Freiheit was on his way to Eveopolis he was attacked by swarms of Guysacks and Rev Raptors, which he theorized were affected by the Rare Hertz surrounding the city. They were all obliterated by Hiltz's Death Stinger.
