- Nebelfluss River

- Introduction

The Nebelfluss River is a location mentioned in the Zoids Anime, a huge river that runs through Guygalos territory. It's a beautiful river surrounded by lush vegetation. Though not all locations here are absolutely confirmed to be on the same river, I'll be treating them as if they are, since they all appeared in the same stretch of episodes / locations. Take with a grain of salt.

Destruction, Episode ~32

This facility housed the Death Saurer as it was growing. Zoid Cores from Raven's rampant destruction would be brought back to the facility and thrown into the waters of the Death Saurer's incubation chamber. When Bang Freiheit showed up one night, searching for leads to Zoid Eve, Fine confronted Prozen and implored him to stop the project, believing it would result in nothing but destruction. Soon, the Death Saurer began to awaken. Prozen realized that it must be reacting to the presence of an Ancient Zoidian. He kidnapped Fine, dragging her into the facility. She was rescued by Bang, but during their escape the Death Saurer broke out of its containment and through the ruin walls. It obliterated the Guylos Zoids guarding the facility, then destroyed the entire facility itself. It was later transferred to a second location once it'd settled down.

- Homalev Castle

Introduction

Homalev Castle is located on the river, home of one of Guylos's higher officials, Homalev. The castle is heavily defended by natural geographical features. The Nebelfluss River surrounds it, with the only way in and out of the castle being the Inei Bridge, which spans a huge distance over the water. The castle also has multiple levels of stone formations directly in front of the Inei Bridge, providing convenient tiered platforms upon which they can stand Zoids for defensive combat.

So, they left in the middle of the night.

After Homalev was sentenced to death, he and Rudolph were trapped in the castle along with the rest of Bang's group. They lined royal Molgas and Hel Digunners up along the cliffs to bombard the enemy Zoids and keep them back from the castle, but being completely surrounded they had no choice but to fight their way out. Homalev revealed that they kept a Royal Saber Tiger on the property, providing a huge amount of fire power to the small group of Zoids. He, Moonbay, Irvine, and Rudolph fought their way across Inei Bridge but on the other side they ran out of options. The group was saved by Rosso and Viola's Storm Sworders.

Order of Execution, Episode 32 ~ 33

Hardin, one of Prozen's key subordinates arrived at Inei Bridge and announced that Homalev had been found guilty of trying to use an imposter of Rudolph to usurp the throne. She declared that he was ordered to be executed, and started a military march to try to destroy the castle. This was a rather reckless maneuver. With Inei Bridge being the only way in and out of Homalev Castle there was really no pressure to take this battle quickly, but Hardin knew that if Rudolph somehow escaped, somehow made it to Prozen's coronation, that there'd be a huge wrench thrown in their plans. So, she insisted that her men push forward, even at the cost of their own lives, and hers.
