Treasure Hunting Plot, Episode 36
After getting lost in a sand storm, allegedly, Bang Freiheit met a Lieutenant Cunningham claiming to be cleaning up after the war. Their unit was searching for lost ammunition, mines, sleepers, etc. in the desert. He later met another man named Dorset claiming to be a special police investigator for the Republican Army. Dorset explained that they were after a lost crate of gold, not lost ammo as they'd claimed. He asked for Bang's help in keeping an eye on them, but when the moment came to arrest the group, right after they'd pulled up the lost container, Dorset and his Gun Sniper charged after them. Over the communications there seemed to be a conflict that resulted in the destruction of both Zoids.
Bang quickly discovered that this incident had been faked between the two individuals, who'd made off with the gold after faking their own deaths. He faced Dorset's Gun Sniper in combat and won, then caught Cunningham before he could escape.
