RMZ-005 Molga Guylos Color

It was developed with careful consideration for how the body sections are divided so that it can bend like a caterpillar. The missile storage section in the tail uses a newly-interpreted hatch opening and closing gimmick in order to achieve realism as a combat mecha.

* Check out the official page for this product! The page you're viewing now exists purely for achival purposes, as countless Zoids products pages and their images have been lost to time over the years.

Details 01: Movable Gimmicks

Each part has a movable gimmick
The action plastic kit approach allows for a wide range of motion, enhancing the realistic movements of insects.

Body
The torso sections have built-in extension joints, allowing for flexible posing that's typical of a caterpillar. The body can also bend in a large U-Shape to the left, right, front, and back.
Tires
It has a built-in frame that allows the tires to steer, so the base of the tires can slide up and down. In addition, the eccentric tire structure from the previous kit has been recreated. A ball joint is used for the base of the tires. It's possible for the mech to express the same emotions of a living creature, such as tensing up into a V-shape or fearfully hunkering down into an inverted V shape.

Details 02: Movable Gimmicks

Many details, such as the cockpit hatch in the head are also equipped with movable gimmicks, allowing for a variety of different expressions.

The cowling can be opened and closed by pulling out the head and deploying the 20mm Gatling Gun section at the top.
This opens and closes the cockpit hatch in the head. A 1/100 scale pilot figure (regular soldier) can be placed inside.

By deploying the missile hatch in the tail, the stored 2-Shot Surface-To-Air Missiles are revealed.
The 2-Shot Surface-To-Air Missiles can be rotated and tilt upwards at the base.

Details 03: Display

The included display stand allows you to display the figure in dynamic poses reminiscent of the scenes from the anime.

Removing the bottom cover exposes the holes for connecting the display stand. With this, it's possible to display the figure in dynamic poses just like in the anime. * Display stand sold separately.

- Notes

Though I presented the page mostly as-is, as given by the company, it seems there's a conflict regarding the stand. The top section claims it's included, while the images say that it's not. The official pages have had a few copy-paste errors (for example, Geno Saurer being listed as a Republic Zoid), so I believe the segment mentioning it comes with the stand is an artifact from copy-pasting the top section from the Helcat (which DOES come with a stand.)
